Frankly speaking, this is the best lunch sushi place in HK. I have tried the $138 sushi (10 pcs your choice) many times. However, one day i tried something new..... the negitoro rice. is very good. Use your judgement by using your eyes. The set is only around 120. However, I don't recommend this place at night. It is too expensive...around 1000 per head....After this crazy experince, i never go there at night. I rather go sushi hiro.

This Japanese restaurant is the worst Japanese restaurant I've ever gone!! Unfortunately, I went there for my boy friend's birthday. I orderd :1. Grilled eel, it was cold...2. Sushi rice, the portion was so small that it's not enough for 1 person and it costs almost $200!!3. Tuna sushi (鐵火卷)- no surprise and costs $804. Clams in sake - the clams were so tiny and there were less than 10 clams.Therefore, we decided to leave and find somewhere else to eat. The bill was $484!! for below average

Originally, I picked this restaurant as this is listed as the top 10 restaurants in open rice, but I was so disappointed and we ended up going to 鋒Sushi to fill our stomach!!

今晚(25 Oct 2006) 我去了今村吃宵夜,因不太餓的關係,兩個人只點了三碟食物:1)Deluxe Sushi Combo ($380) - 壽司非常新鮮,但只得7件,以價錢來說,比較貴了些。2) Assorted Tempura ($100) - 很好吃、又香口。3) California Roll ($100) - 很好吃,但没有牛油果,感覺欠了小小東西。Appetizer: $60 ($30 per person), including green tea.店子雖然小,但服務真的很好,洗手間還非常清潔。

今晚(25 Oct 2006) 我去了今村吃宵夜,因不太餓的關係,兩個人只點了三碟食物:

天婦羅有兩只蝦,冬菇、茄子和蕃薯各一塊。

各款魚新鮮,色澤光亮油潤,肉質有彈性。壽司飯微暖,味道剛好又不鬆散。唯天婦羅稍遜色,粉槳不夠脆和乾身。蝦子夾起時軟軟的,雖質感很爽口,但略欠鮮味。但以$108 這個無敵價,物超所值。

有拍照工能的手提電話是在壽司吧最好的偷拍工具。況且近我的小師傅們是香港人,香港師傅們多不介意客人拍照,當然不能騷擾到別人。順帶一提那位女服務生很細心,看我飯後拿藥吃,主動問我要不要白開水送藥呢—我本想隨隨便便用綠茶送算了,反正到了腸胃也是什麼都混為一體了嘛。

傷風後咳嗽未好還吃天婦羅和綠茶冰淇淋?哎呀,吃好一點心情開朗,病也快點康復!後遺症是後來咳多了一點﹗

因為星期六吃得很好,星期天(9 月24 日)和老公再來安歌。這天的目標是十件自選壽司套餐($138):

今天的甜點是檸檬雪葩,怕咳,只好吃半個,酸酸甜甜很清新。

除了大拖羅稍為失望外,各樣魚類都很鮮味,老公很滿意,這店很不錯,很快會再來!

今日本來是同另一個dept同事farewell,點知佢話要同自己個dept同事lunch,所以去唔到要下次先試到。呢間sushi店係咖哩角同事book既,咁得2個女仔去好似好少人,於是就叫埋++去。入到去唔係好大,同之前食18/f個間一樣,但呢到無房但都ok。開始睇下有咩食,見meau有9樣set lunch,樣樣都好似好好食,都睇左一陣先叫到,3個人set lunch如下;碎魚生飯定食、八件壽司定食和燒魚定食。碎魚生飯定食- 好多碎魚生呀!(第一次食咁多咋)好新鮮又好食,重有佢個前菜都好食,個湯係三文魚湯o黎o架(好味),個蒸蛋都好味,最後重有芝麻雪糕。八件壽司定食- 咖哩角話好味又新鮮,佢個set有天婦羅同烏冬。佢個壽司都唔少,都比o的靚o野(唔係cheap架),但就無湯同蒸蛋。燒魚定食- 個set同碎魚生飯定食差唔多,你個主菜轉左做燒魚。o的燒魚有3件,都幾厚身o下,出面食到既係1開2。我都有試到天婦羅同燒魚都好食,但我地3個女仔都有少少o野淨,睇meau個時唔知份量咁多,而黎到都唔覺,但食食下就會開始有飽既即像,要慢慢食先得。佢地o的服務oko架,人需然不多(可能地地方細),但

我都有試到天婦羅同燒魚都好食,但我地3個女仔都有少少o野淨,睇meau個時唔知份量咁多,而黎到都唔覺,但食食下就會開始有飽既即像,要慢慢食先得。

佢地o的服務oko架,人需然不多(可能地地方細),但佢地間中都會過o黎幫你倒茶,唔使叫幾好。

總括o黎講係好食o既,但得女仔o黎就要考慮食得幾多,有男士係到會好o的,一定食得清。

見之前食評咁好,今日就專登走去銅鑼灣食佢既Lunch Sets,兩個人叫左一個$88既壽司拚盤同$108既碎魚生飯。壽司拚盤有十件壽司,件件都好好食,D魚好新鮮而且好大件,一個人未必食得o西! 至於個碎魚生飯,D魚生多到好似唔駛錢咁,而且粒粒都又肥美又新鮮,應該係我食過最正既魚生飯!! 配菜方面,一D都唔遜色,烏冬,前菜,沙律,蒸蛋,全部都有水準,不過最驚喜都係個芝麻雪糕,一陣芝麻香味,真係非常好食!服務方面,因為地方小但人手充足,侍應都非常主動,態度亦十分友善,不過個男經理就真係比較Cool,總體來講唔錯!! 以壽司處今村既水準,兩個人食到滿載而歸都只係二百一十幾蚊,一定會再光顧!!

A girl friend of mine birthday lately, so I suggested to have dinner with her in 壽司處今村. Actually I've been there once for lunch very long time ago. The food was very good and the price was quite decent for lunch. I never try on dinner so I went there with 2 friends on Aug 2, 2006. We all thought the dinner was a little bit pricy, when we were checking on the manu, of course compared with lunch was a huge differnce. We all thought the dinner was a little bit pricy, when we were checking on the manu, of course compared with lunch was a huge differnce. We all enjoyed so much except when we were asking if there was any special discount offer, the manager told us in a very rude manner, said "no discount offered". And we tried again to see if they had VIP. The manager said again in a very mean way, "our VIP was very pricy and expensive". We were then got pissed off of course. He was absolutely looked us down. So fine, we left. Then the following week, I went there for lunch again. I booked a table a week ahead, but when my friend got in, the manager told her the reservation was for 2 people only. so my friend range me up, and I told her I changed to 4. Then the manager kept asking her tons stuipd questions like who picked up the phone? Man or woman? And told her that they definitely would not have a table in such a perk hour. Anyway, after 5-10 mins later, we still got a table for 4 because they just had a cancellation. Finally, my friend sit down first and I got in afterward, and told her I would definitely write something about him, and looked at him again and said it out very loudly, and he heard it, so the way he served us was slicely better.

Blue Fin Tuna (Hon Maguro) O-Toro from the belly has a bit of sinew (有少少筋) stop complaining people... Only the neck part has no 筋.And smaller Blue Fin Tuna less than 100Kg has less fat.And cheaper Big Eye or Yellow Fin Tuna\'s O-Toro (which looks whiter in colour) from Indian ocean actually has less 筋but also less flavour.Don\'t complain if you don\'t know Tuna... Even if you go to Tsukiji in Tokyo and order Blue Fin O-Toro from high end shop, it is the same. But most tourists go to cheaper/midd

Don\'t complain if you don\'t know Tuna... Even if you go to Tsukiji in Tokyo and order Blue Fin O-Toro from high end shop, it is the same. But most tourists go to cheaper/middle class sushi shops in Japan and only get served cheaper fish\'s toro and you think it is better, only because it has no 筋.

It doesn\'t actually work like that.

In actual fact, BinCho-Otoro from the cheapest tuna is one of the best toros around, but it is quite rare even in Japan. Bincho-toro however is popular but very bad, no flavour.

The theory is not fixed unfortunately....


Anyway I like this place. \'Gin Sing\' and here are equally good to me.

前菜是有的...綠色的芝麻海草一小石本

先上的是大拖羅,uni....'O'...早d瓜(濃味打濃味)
再來是甜蛋,(口感好但不大香),油甘,金目鯛,雞魚..
白肉魚很好...清清的
穴子...不差..那個汁不是太重..,夏天是穴子的季節啊
但是不是可以好咬口一些的嗎?有少少散

不知何故,,,我個人比較喜歡食魷魚特別是壽司
這裡的刀功了得脆脆的魷魚..愛死了..得一個

後上的是茶碗蒸及味增汁....ok的
....
結果是150元連加一

你重想點...如果是晚餐500元有個set,,,再諗一下

第一次幫趁就可以食到今村先生親手握的壽司,真係好,d魚好新鮮,魚肉好軟熟,口感一流,今村先生很親切,好笑容,雪糕係豆腐雪糕,幾特別,真係令人很回味,呢一餐簡直物超所值,好享受似的,記得坐吧檯呀

唔經唔覺今個已經係第一百個食評,當然唔可以求求其其揾間嘢嚟食la。下晝過CWB找女友食飯,之前諗住去壽司廣,點知早一日book位都full house,真誇張。忽然諗起呢間鋪未食過,就決定咗呢度作為我第一百個食評...踏進鋪內,發現地方唔大,典型日本壽司鋪格局。之前已經book咗坐sushi bar,估唔到仲係坐响老闆今村先生面前,真係發達lor..叫咗lunch sets入面最貴嘅二個餐,女友食嘅餐包十件自選壽司,加三件刺身、前菜及麵豉湯;我揀嘅set就只係得十件自選壽司(無剌身嘅)。先嚟刺身作為熱身,油甘魚算係肥美,無渣;吞拿顏色紅卜卜,睇上去幾新鮮,不過美中不足係有少少筋;無試到舊甜蝦,不過聽女友講話都幾好。跟住就開始壽司宴嘞...今村先生跟足傳統,先嚟淡口嘅白身魚--- 金目鱲夠鮮,魚味濃,口感清新,忽然想起三年前响築地巿場壽司大食過嘅味道;大拖羅呈紅白相間,直頭好似食嚿魚油入口咁,不過發現食落口時有D渣,眉頭有少少皺,呢樣都係見誠嘅出品勝一籌;再嚟雞魚及象拔蚌,雞魚嘅口感同hamachi好似,都好新鮮;象拔蚌好爽口,一D都唔韌。跟住就嚟比較濃味嘅 --- Anago係一流嘅,

踏進鋪內,發現地方唔大,典型日本壽司鋪格局。之前已經book咗坐sushi bar,估唔到仲係坐响老闆今村先生面前,真係發達lor..

叫咗lunch sets入面最貴嘅二個餐,女友食嘅餐包十件自選壽司,加三件刺身、前菜及麵豉湯;我揀嘅set就只係得十件自選壽司(無剌身嘅)。

先嚟刺身作為熱身,油甘魚算係肥美,無渣;吞拿顏色紅卜卜,睇上去幾新鮮,不過美中不足係有少少筋;無試到舊甜蝦,不過聽女友講話都幾好。

跟住就開始壽司宴嘞...今村先生跟足傳統,先嚟淡口嘅白身魚--- 金目鱲夠鮮,魚味濃,口感清新,忽然想起三年前响築地巿場壽司大食過嘅味道;大拖羅呈紅白相間,直頭好似食嚿魚油入口咁,不過發現食落口時有D渣,眉頭有少少皺,呢樣都係見誠嘅出品勝一籌;再嚟雞魚及象拔蚌,雞魚嘅口感同hamachi好似,都好新鮮;象拔蚌好爽口,一D都唔韌。

跟住就嚟比較濃味嘅 --- Anago係一流嘅,再加上搽响上面嘅鰻魚汁,實非平常食嘅普通鰻魚可比;Uni顏色金黃,口感甘香豐脥,有海水味,不俗。

跟餐嘅茶碗蒸好滑,內裏有白果、冬菇、蝦等材料,幾地道,跟响日本食嘅出品差無幾;麵豉湯好清,附有一兩件吞拿魚鰭肉"lun"吓,跟普通鋪頭出品嘅"庸俗"味道好很多。

用嘅米當然係日本米,口感鬆軟,見今村師傅用三手完成一件壽司,功夫到家。

一邊食嘅時候今村先生都會撩吓你傾偈,我就多口問佢哋嘅貨係唔係多數係築地嚟,佢話大部份都係,另外有部份就從九州嚟,一星期返貨四次咁話...

傾傾吓最後食埋個芝蔴雪糕,功德圓滿...

been there for lunch sets several times. price is similar to other sushi masters. the master is comparatively young, knows abit cantonese & appear fairly frequent on media. the one thing special abt this place is as listed below, for same price of sushi set, u got 1) choice of sushi 2) fairly wide choice incl rarer & more expensive types. agreed that geoduck is esp fresh, the 'cin' taste is obvious. then the sashimi bowl is in pieces (the type i prefer) rather than diced form. the miso sou

, only less heavy. grateful if anyone inform place of retail sales.

見到餐牌上既嘢,樣樣都好貴,我都叫唔落,幾經辛苦我哋至諗到叫乜:

1. 雜錦壽司併盤($250):起碼並唔係普通既壽司,而係啲特別啲既魚,仲有個象拔蚌同事話好味道!其實佢有個頗特別既櫻花蝦壽司,佢係由好多隻好細好細隻既蝦仔連殼咁上既,但係我哋就唔太識欣賞,冇人願意食,結果都係要犠牲個男同事...但我就唔記得問佢ok唔ok,只記得佢話好似有骨咁...

2. 北海道帶子刺身($150):好鮮甜呀,我鍾意呀!

3. 雜錦天婦羅($100up):好好呀,有三隻蝦,啱啱好,唔駛爭,炸粉烚到好處,唔太多,正!

4. 香葱碎吞拿魚腩卷($80):一啲都唔普通,食入口好好味,果然唔同一般既店子...

5. 海鰻板壓壽司($180):正!只可以用正黎形容,諗唔到其他更好既形容詞!海鰻好淋,壽司本身己有鰻汁,所以完全唔駛點汁,正!

6. 冷蕎麥麵($40):好一般..

7. 冷烏冬($40):呢個好味,烏冬好彈牙!

侍應亦頻頻加茶,可能冇乜人既關係...

樣樣嘢都好貴,仲有一人一碟前菜,應該唔平架!不過好食,亦算飽,好滿足!雖然係兩個舊同事請我食,但係埋單好似成$990,我都好肉痛因為太貴,直到而家寫緊呢篇嘢都好痛!多謝晒!!!!Many thanks!
