We went to Ye Shanghai at Pacific Place for mother's day celebration dinner tonight. We were hugely disappointed by the rudeness of your
service staff. We made a reservation with a specific request for a baby chair. We even specifically mentioned the age of the baby. And
we confirmed the reservation around noon today. We arrived at the restaurant, the front desk staff, lead us to a table where there is a baby chair, but insisted on removing the baby chair because she claimed that we did not reserve for it. She was not only having a poor attitude, also loudly accused of us in front of all other diners, my
mother and my baby girl that we wanted a baby chair that we did not reserve. Why would any parents take their baby out and not make a
reservation for a baby chair? ! When I asked her who is the customer here, she abruptly pushed the baby chair in to the table and said “whatever, you can have it" and left. We arrived at the restaurant happily and was really looking forward to celebrate my first Mother’s Day with my baby. But was completely ruined it by the staff. If it is not because we have both elderly and baby with us, we would have left the restaurant at that moment.
There are negative reviews on Open Rice about the service at this restaurant. I thought maybe it is just one off bad experience. But after my own
experience tonight. have to say this is the worst restaurant experience we have ever had, and what made it worse is that it happened on a night that supposed to be celebratorial. Please do pay attention to the poor service stated in the reviews.
