Fire Well is hearty mid-range hot pot restaurant next to the HKU station. The menu has a lot of rare cuts like beef testicles and pork hard palates. All dumplings and meatballs are homemade too.Fire Well's signature soup $168 had tons of ingredients inside - pickled green mustard, chicken feet, pork intestines, tomatoes, Chinese celery etc. The soup itself was pretty bland, as it boiled it got more salty flavor from mainly the pickled green mustard. The homemade dumplings were tasty and more flavorful than the soup. The Chinese chive dumplings were huge and satisfying with balanced ratio of meat to chives. The dried scallops pork dumplings had a scrumptious filling too. Didn't even need to dip any soy sauce. Comfortable environment, friendly owner and staff. Highly recommended. 繼續閱讀

📍火井火鍋I guess a lot of people are familiar with this traditional hotpot place in Sai Wan that has been here for years.Their seafood sashimi are super fresh. We obviously over ordered that day with lobster, geoduck and squid. You can have it three ways. As sashimi, cook it in the hotpot for a few seconds and lastly, add to the lobster head congee. Super sweet. If you can’t finish, you can pack the congee back home and have it the next day. A very good hangover cure. The broth here is the traditional style. Can’t say it’s strong but it is actually ideal to go with the good quality ingredients. Another thumbs up to their side dishes, like 椒鹽九肚魚 and 炸魚片頭. Very lightly battered and well seasoned. 打邊爐係本人一年四季都非常喜歡嘅活動,今次試嘅火井門口貼左唔少明星相,有兩層,感覺好local,要叫野食可以隨時大叫😅唔會有張點菜紙俾你tick tick tick 呢度係我地食嘅嘢嘅一小部份,之後掛住食冇再影相,講下佢嘅牛肉,差唔多$300一碟份量算有返咁上下。左邊係美國牛,右邊係手切牛頸脊,牛頸脊正好多,一啲都唔肥又超有鮮牛味,咬落有好soft,好正!如果知道咁正一早叫多啲,因為限量供應再加單已經冇……咁員工就recommend我哋叫premium版牛頸脊,貴$100,我地好似食多左3盆,其實都好食,不過唔知點解我地都覺得平啲嗰隻牛頸脊反而好食d其他嘢食大部份都唔錯,連個烏冬都唔頹。惟一唔好食嘅係羊肉,多肥膏又冇咩味,唔洗試。員工都好nice,價錢唔算平但食物質素幾好。 繼續閱讀

My favourite hotpot restaurant in HK😋 They have very high quality beef💯💯 I took the 極級肥牛肉 $248 and 手切牛頸脊 $228 Personally prefer the 肥牛more😍😍 Picked the 胡椒豬肚湯底 it comes with lots of ingredients 👍👍 soup is not very rich but still good for hotpotOther dish we ordered: 韭菜餃chive dumpling|炸魚皮fried fish skin|豬潤pork liver|粉腸 sausage| 墨魚蝦滑mashed squid & prawn| 黑柏葉|鱔魚eel fish|雞子|牛脷 beef tongue. 難得冬天跌到十度八度,偏偏卻不能柴娃娃去打邊爐,正月尾終於有酒鬼吹雞,話要襯夏天未到,快啲去西環一訪人氣明星飯堂「火井火鍋海鮮飯店」。地舖門面開揚大方。店內光線充裕,前方位置全為二至六人嘅卡位,環境闊落企理,通道寬闊,私人空間足,最緊要就係冷氣夠勁!拍牆排出嘅雪桶陣載滿冰塊,似乎預計已訂座嘅食客都會啤一啤佢。最入嘅用餐大堂則擺出圓枱散座。不用花巧之裝潢,牆上僅貼出報章嘅訪問及大型嘅餐牌,方便客人點餸及追加,簡單到題。連接廚房嘅魚缸閃出藍光,可見生猛嘅海鮮游玩,水質清澈,感覺極為衛生,食得亦加倍安心。派對由幽默熱情嘅老闆Andy哥哥親自招待,閒談間得知店子只做晚市,全因每天選材及採購工作都由佢一身包辦,絕不假手於人,此乃其金漆招牌信心保證之命脈!兄弟班打邊爐最佳配搭首選好自然係啤酒,隊咗幾多結果唔記得咗數。。。店子亦有提供多款汽水、涼茶及中、日、洋酒品。食物餐牌底面兩頁只有中文版,莫非係冇乜外國客?!席上擺有齊備嘅自用餐具、公用廚具及乾濕紙巾。寫好餸即輪流混醬($18/位)。大大鍋湯底迅即呈現眼前。火井招牌火鍋($138):鎮店招牌鍋呈奶白色,內含雞腳、枝竹、豬皮、蕃茄、蘿蔔等,湯底濃而不膩,好夠火喉。刺身拼盤:最早到步嘅暴龍太郎應推介點咗三款時價刺身,一口氣以拼盤呈上,震撼吸睛。相中左前方有晶瑩透光,鮮嫩甜美嘅小龍蝦($698/隻),後方色澤同小龍蝦一樣但更為厚肉有彈性嘅係深海花蝦($168/隻),而右前方奶奶地色嘅就係清甜爽脆嘅加拿大象拔蚌($1,398/原條)。新鮮靚材做出嘅刺身尤其鮮美,不過大家唔好睇少啲蝦殼同龍蝦殼,因為入面仲有好多料俾大廚再煮多道餸架!刺身兩食加工之美極蝦($78):深海花蝦或許係三款刺身中最味淡嘅一味,但意外地,勁量級美極蝦飽滿嘅蝦頭堅多料,蝦殼除咗脆到可以吞埋落肚之外,其實殼下仍藏有爽彈嘅蝦肉,唔怪得知彎起後成大半隻碟咁大啦!以美極鮮醬油烹調過,蝦隻由頭食到落尾都咁香濃惹味,重點推介也!伴碟新鮮炸出嘅雲吞皮巧薄熱辣,鬆化且夠乾身,配角一啲都冇馬虎!補身牛波子($68):與暴龍一族晚聚,第一時間梗係要搵牛歡喜啦,可惜餐牌上唔見,細問下知悉餐店原來冇賣牛歡喜,只有男版嘅「牛波子」,即牛睪丸!最愛補身嘅兄弟們決定一試,由經驗老到嘅Andy哥哥教大家將肉色嘅牛波子於滾湯中拖至變色,十秒內已經可以食得。切成薄片嘅牛波子並無任何押味或異味,軟腍嘅質地其實同白子差唔多,唔講明係牛嘅咩部位的話係唔會特別令人抗拒,食落會以為食緊好肥潤嘅肝咁,哈哈,混咗醬只會食出混醬味,$68咁補身喎,抵玩啦!竹筒墨魚滑($108):白雪雪嘅墨魚滑超級爽彈。竹筒鮮蝦滑($108):新鮮打製嘅蝦滑起哂膠嘅外表剔透亮澤,煮熟後更覺爽脆嫩滑,鮮甜無比,屬火鍋極品!特級手切牛頸脊($388/大):色調鮮紅嘅特級牛頸脊雲石紋理清晰,肥瘦均勻嘅牛肉鮮爽有嚼勁,而且肉味香濃,一碟接一碟咁食,相信係對美食最高嘅評價及肯定!極品靚和牛($368):佈滿雪花嘅和牛薄片粉嫩鮮明,軟滑嘅靚牛半溶於口,無奈喺有比較嘅情況下其牛味則變得不甚突出,豐潤嘅油脂添帶膩感,打邊爐時個人會情願揀食手切牛頸脊。即炸響鈴卷($58):響鈴即叫即炸,建議點上秘製山渣醬直接食。厚厚嘅響鈴卷雖則酥化,可惜油份過多,食落唔夠鬆脆輕盈。娃娃菜($48):娃娃菜翠嫩爽口,清甜又清熱。自製韮菜餃($78):韮菜餃皮層夠薄,足料嘅韮菜餡心芳香脆嫩,惹味非常,連平時唔多鍾意韮菜餃嘅龍少爺都讚不絕口,堅掂啦!瑤柱菜肉餃($78):同樣皮薄嘅菜肉餃肉香鮮美,簡單易入口。龍蝦殼煲粥:之前切出刺身後剩餘嘅龍蝦殼交由專業嘅姐姐即場放入火鍋中加以熬煮湯底。淨睇相都見到豐滿嘅白肉橙膏,咬落爽甜脆潤,!另加絲苗白飯($15/碗)、農場雞蛋($12/隻)、蔥碎、芫荽再煲出靚粥。索盡精華嘅火井龍蝦粥豐腴濃甜,冬天食用必定倍添鍋心暖胃!西環名牌火鍋專門店「火井火鍋海鮮飯店」面積寬廣,空氣流通,衛生講究(細佬當真從未見過咁乾淨嘅火鍋店洗手間)。老闆一家及員工們齊心落力,友善好客。火鍋配料用材新鮮高質,海鮮時價有所浮動難以預測,其餘菜式價格合理。夏天將近,如果可以加推歡樂暢飲優惠,相信炎炎夏日要做到天天滿座也並非難事。 繼續閱讀
