For roast dinners, I normally go to Delaney's but recently roast lamb was on the menu at Canny Man, so I went there.I started off with cabbage and bacon soup which was clear and warming because their air conditioning was quite cold.Then came the roast lamb.Usually it comes with mash but their chips are perfectly fried which was why I changed the mash to the chips.The highlight had to be the vinegar mint sauce with finely chopped mint and the gravy which went deliciously with the thinly sliced ju

由於見到呢間吧在openrice 有咁多個哈哈笑，琴日終於決定同同事lunch 黎試一試！點知。。。好後悔囉！呢間bar 果日既lunch set 只有三個可以選：1.煎三文魚配薯菜2.肉醬意粉3.燒牛扒沒有其他選擇，一律＄88＋10％我地一行4人都叫齊晒所有sets，但可惜無一個好味。先說我點的煎三文魚配薯菜吧三文魚大約只有我2隻手指既寬度，size 並唔係最大問題，問題係所有野都係凍既！連薯條都係！d 椰菜花仲要又凍又硬，煮得唔夠時間可以肯定唔係即叫即整的！而友人點既燒牛扒更好笑，先說waiter 在落單時竟然無問友人要幾多成熟，結果黎到時係100％ 熟一件全熟既牛扒，雖然唔厚，但係點都會好韌啦，所以又係唔好味！同樣地，佢果碟既薯條都係凍既！好啦，最後既肉醬意粉可以話係較為好d d 果個，起碼黎到係有煙既，即係熱啦，不過....佢煮到好咸，好明顯係個廚師落重手左，而且用好多油，友人每食幾啖就要抹一次嘴，哈哈哈至於服務呢，因為係酒店既地庫，地方唔算大，所以waiters／waitress 都唔多，只有2個就算要refill 野飲，起碼要舉手舉5分鐘先有人會理你…以$88加一呢個價錢食

之前聽一個蘇格蘭朋友講話灣仔有間食蘇格蘭菜好正宗好好味呢排我又鐘意係灣仔搵飯食、係openrice搵搵下就搵左呢間食評幾好餐廳！後來先知原來就係朋友講果間！我約左個朋友食飯、就建議黎左呢度餐廳位於華美粵海酒店裡面！你要入左間酒店先、之後先見到大堂最裡面有條樓梯落去餐廳餐廳地方都幾大、七點半入到餐廳都只係小貓三四隻、始終呢間都算係bar、可能都要晏點先多人如果全場爆滿、呢個焗束既地庫都應該幾嘈下！我和朋友兩個女仔叫左三樣野1. Cascer Salad份量十足！一般凱薩沙律都好難失手既2. This is a great place for lunch. It is located at the basement of a hotel in WanChai. We did not expect too much from a set lunch in a pub, but it turned out to be very good in terms of the quality of the food and the attractive price.The chicken pasta was very creamy and delicious.We also ordered Roast Beef which was juicy with yummy mashed potatoes as side dish.The set lunch also included drinks, choices of appetizer, as well as ice-cream! Very good value for HK$88 plus service charge.

從遠處已看到The Canny Man的招牌，令我們以為是從駱克道進入的。要進入餐廳，要進入香港華美粵海酒店酒店大堂，在左方有一樓梯到地庫。在往地庫的樓梯附近，有一海報寫著："To the Oasis of Wanchai"。酒吧一向給人的感覺是烏煙瘴氣，今天發現到繼附近「V字」酒吧之後有另一環境比較寧靜及環境舒服的酒吧。這裡的椅子有軟墊，椅用半月型的設計，比較大張。而枱都是正常尺寸，相對下覺得枱子是略小。午餐只有三款，包餐湯或沙律、主菜、雪糕及餐飲，可惜有些午餐不太切合香港人的口味。或許，你會餐單上更有些完全不想選的。例如當天有一個午餐是蜜糖醬菠蘿火腿。主菜可跟飯、意粉、薯茸或薯條。選擇比一般西餐廳多。價錢劃一$88+10%。同一日的餐單上食物的價值和份量都可以相差很遠，而所有食物都沒有圖片，點餐前可先看看四周的食物真身。如果不太趕時間，不要太心急下單。是日我選了燒羊肉配薯條。上菜約要等候十五分鐘。燒羊肉有四至五塊，份量中等。羊不感覺到強烈膻味，燒汁也做得不錯。另外，甜品雲呢拿雪糕有驚喜。雪糕質感也算滑，味道香濃，配上朱古力醬，出奇地匹配。餐飲我選了熱檸茶，是以壺裝上的。茶味也不錯。

喜歡這裡, 因為有ALL DAY BREAKFAST, 還有大量的啤酒可選, 而且人客不多, 懂得聽廣東話的, 更少就在聽演唱會的前夕, 突然想到來這喝喝啤酒, 就走來了,這酒吧位於酒店地庫, 到達時竟聽到一陣吵鬧聲,原來很多人在這看欖球賽呢因我倆都不餓, 就點一份分著吃吧, 反正我的目標是啤酒,點了最普通的English All-Day Breakfast, breakfast sausages, bacon, eggs, tomato, sautéed mushrooms, onion & potato, baked beans and toast (choice of fried bread)應該要有的都有了, 想讚好的是蕃茄煎得香口來說說啤酒了, 點了兩款, 分別是Floris Chocolate & Wells Banana Bread Beer,前者是有朱古力香味&甜味, 小小的一支, 應該很適合女生吧,後者聞了一下, 是有香蕉的香味, 雖然沒甚甜味, 但也不苦如果多一點時間的話, 坐在這悠悠閒閒的聊著天喝喝啤酒也很是寫意

聽講係呢度o既招牌菜 -- haggis第一次食羊o既內臟, 好新奇好驚喜! 意想不到咁好味 >< 口感唔識形容但不錯, 好香, 而且騷味唔會過份.... 哇! 諗起又好回味好想再食多次><haggis下面d薯蓉太大舊, 太多牛油, 漏得好緊要!!! 但側邊果3舊味道似甜番薯又似carrot o既, 好味呢個salad比預期中好味同新鮮,好開胃, 可能我比較鍾意食酸o既野.... roast of the day就冇咩特別, 但值得一讚o既係薯條外面炸到脆卜卜好好味 個source我都好鍾意最後我地order左呢set whisky, ages of 12, 17, 21, 25 & 30. wow.. 我最鍾意30年o既味道 -3-

從來都不喜歡去嘈雜的酒吧，那只是將酒精灌下肚，沒有意思。要去，也是要去一些比較靜，既可以令耳朵少受一點罪，也可以舒適和好友暢談。是夜，是和女友一起，到達時約九點，人不多，不用等。叫了一杯APPLE CEDAR 同埋HONEY DEW。APPLE CEDAR 很清，蘋果味較輕。HONEY DEW 極易入口，有蜜糖的after taste，不俗。啤酒來說，相信是很受女孩子歡迎的。不知不覺坐了兩個小時，很舒適很輕鬆。下次再來試下其他啤酒或者威士忌先。
