So i came here thinking any restaurant in a shopping centre should be credible. Its decor gave the restaurant a good vibe. First timer to this restaurant so i had better expectations.
There were a couple of things which surprised me:
1. The service was similar to, or worse than, a cha chaan teng!
2. Not only was i the only person with the view of their service being horrible, but overheard others from tables next to me having the same complaint too.
3. I ordered two dishes...and they weren't of the quality i had expected for the price i had paid:
a. Soft shell crab rice paper roll - when ordered generally, it normally looks fresh and appealing. The content wrapped wasn't filled like other rice paper rolls and the soft shell crab was soft and had a fishy odour. Never tasted this dish like this before!
b. Cold vermicelli with grilled beef - the content was ok, but the fish sauce that they gave looked a bit dodgy. Had no choice but to use it anyway. Presentation was bland though. But this dish was 'relatively' so much better than the soft shell crab rolls.
Total bill = $164
Conclusion: i regretted not getting McDonald's for 1/4 of the price
