I went to BurgeRoom with 3 of my friends for a birthday dinner. It was a hot day, even at 7pm, but fortunately we were seated immediately once we reached the restaurant. The restaurant itself is quite small, but it was quite cosy. To order, you had to get up and go to the counter, like in a fast food restaurant, so that was fine.
They had a couple of drinks fridges full of amazing choices, such as bundaberg ginger beer and a variety of flavours of snapple too, whch was great! The only problem was that I think that each drink cost quite a bit, so be prepared to bring some extra money for your drinks!
The food came quite quickly- the only problem was that 2 of us, both of whom had ordered the bacon cheeseburger, got our food way before our other 2 friends, who ordered the soft shell crab burger, so we had to start eating without them. However, we had ordered some melted cheese twister fries so they nibbled on those.
The twister fries were very good, but I actually preferred them without the cheese- it was a bit thick and gloopy, and we reckoned it was probably just some cheap, processed cheese that they had used on top, and was nearly double the price of the usual twister fries, so were definitely not worth spending about $15 more on something that in reality probably cost a couple of dollars.
The burgers were delicious though! The bacon cheeseburger was great, and the bacon was lovely and crispy and good qualty, and the cheese was delicious too! As someone who doen't like too much cheese on their burgers, this was perfect for me as it was melted and delicious yet not overpowerring or stringy. The burger itself was juicy and cooked very nicely!
Overall, I would say that the BurgerRoom is the perfect place to go to if you are looking for somewhere quick, relatively cheap, and fun to go to with you friends. Even though it took usa little bit of time to find it, it was worth it and a much better choice than eating eating somewhere boring for my birthday dinner!
