一直都喜愛吃韓國菜, 吃過不同國家, 由韓國人主理的韓菜, 心想一試西式韓菜是什麼模樣。 試菜當晚下大雨, 一心以為不用訂位, 誰知7 時多已經有8 成客, 大部份是韓國人。由於我和友人都不善於點菜, 侍應生卻主動介紹餐廳比較多人點的菜式, 加上我倆比較喜愛傳統韓菜, 侍應生按照我們所想吃的, 為我們決定了: 這是我非常欣賞的…因為放工之後不想 “用腦”!我們點了牛肋骨, 用鐡板上, 牛肋骨好嫩, 好”淋”..有點點甜味, 但我相信有些人不太喜歡甜的牛肉, 有些食評說 “無咩特別” 不過我覺得好好味, 跟韓國館子所吃的差不多,卻多了鐡板, 入口非常之野味。還點了辣味海鮮湯 (真名忘記了), 上菜時熱辣辣, 超多海鮮, 有帶子, 鮮蝦, 魷魚, 我要求少辣, 侍應說是二人份量, 但卻是四人份量, 加上有些蘑菇, 翠玉瓜, 好好味, 我本身是一個超級 ”味精”敏感的人, 點這湯前已經心想實要叫定可樂, 誰知整晚都沒有 ”中毒”徵狀, 對味精敏感的人, 可以放心試試!還有傳統石頭飯Bibimbap, 炸醬麵, 士多啤梨汁炒雞 (真名又忘記了), 這是我最喜愛的, 未吃前賣相已經好靚, 入口

還點了辣味海鮮湯 (真名忘記了), 上菜時熱辣辣, 超多海鮮, 有帶子, 鮮蝦, 魷魚, 我要求少辣, 侍應說是二人份量, 但卻是四人份量, 加上有些蘑菇, 翠玉瓜, 好好味, 我本身是一個超級 ”味精”敏感的人, 點這湯前已經心想實要叫定可樂, 誰知整晚都沒有 ”中毒”徵狀, 對味精敏感的人, 可以放心試試!

士多啤梨汁炒雞 (真名又忘記了), 這是我最喜愛的, 未吃前賣相已經好靚, 入口前以為甜的, 誰知是咸的, 是一道很特別的菜!!

總括而言, 一間餐廳會否繼續光顧, 除食物之外, 餐廳的裝修,設計, 侍應生的態度都是考慮因素。 我想我會再次光顧, 因為食物有心思,驚喜: 雖是韓國菜, 但上菜的方式, 賣相, 甚至餐廳的形式, 擺設都是西式風格, 你大可以和朋友邊喝紅酒, 邊吃bibimbap, 加上室內沒有像一般韓餐館般嘈雜和充滿油煙味, 感覺舒適, 當晚我和朋友吃到十時左右, 侍應生都沒有面露不悅。有舒適環境, 跟朋友連小學趣事都傾過, 埋單時大約每人200左右, 消磨一整晚! 最最最重要的是…不用回家找可樂!!!

This year for my birthday, my friends celebrate with me at ChumChumMi. Which is the korean fusion restaurant I try first in HK. There are cosy atmosphere and seating area that I enjoyed very much. Before We started to order, the manager is kind enough to recommand the highlighted cocktails offering and menu for us.
To my surprise, we can order whatever we want to drink and he will tailor-make for us. After we tried, we appreciated that the cocktails appealed to us very much and we have never heard that tailor-made service providing in others restaurant.
Another great recommandation is the taste of fish(similar with eel) is really speacial and delicious taht we have never tasted before as well.
Moreover, I was surprised that manager offered the birthday cake to me for celebration without our ordering in advance.His kindness left a dep impression on us.
We will come back again and again as the personalised service making me truly memorable and we are pleased to enjoy speacial dining discourt pivileges for our dinner that evening.

We have a good time with ChumChumMi.Not saying the food first, I enjoy the environment and the service very much. Not a curse to this restaurant, but with a nice decoration and reasonable price Korean fusion food, I can't explain the reason why they only have a few customers in the afternoon tea hours during public holiday.We almost wait 30mins to meet up all our fds, while the time we didn't order even a drink but the manager keep patient to refill water, setting baby chairs and tried to arrang

Not saying the food first, I enjoy the environment and the service very much.

Not a curse to this restaurant, but with a nice decoration and reasonable price Korean fusion food, I can't explain the reason why they only have a few customers in the afternoon tea hours during public holiday.

We almost wait 30mins to meet up all our fds, while the time we didn't order even a drink but the manager keep patient to refill water, setting baby chairs and tried to arrange the best seat for our group.

With some introduction on their lunch and tea menu, we start order. The manager is honestly telling us which is not suitable for children due to hot and spicy, and suggest the one good to share.

They serve the hot lemon tea with a silver tea pot and seperate lemon slices, come with a nice cup and sugar jar. I love this style! The 3-layer stand with scone, jam, cream, strawberry with dipping, brownie, sponge cake, cheese cake, roast beef bun. I would say the taste is so so and it's nothing related to Korean food. but just a tea set for 2 cost $88+10%, I don't care much.

We spent almost 3 hours there, an enjoyable moment with fds in ChumChumMi.

今日係我同老公結婚一週年,所以去左食西式韓國菜,,我又遲到...><,,,去到,老公話佢已經食左幾份包..呢到環境好正,寬敞得黎好華麗...都唔算少人客..泡菜同提子麥包/墨魚汁麵包:一坐底就有,,,,我最欣賞呢到既墨魚汁麵包..炸醬麵:還可以人蔘雞湯:真係落足料厚燒和牛 - 入口即溶,好味道韓式炒牛肉:我覺得冇咩特別人蔘柿子甜品好靚,好別緻,由於我好中意食甜野,所以好岩我口味..一切感覺都好好,最衰唔記得戴相機...-0-

朋友話想黎呢間野試下, 但係睇完尋日個食評都驚驚地結果今日都係去左, 我去到果時7點幾8點,都坐滿晒人, 唔似個食評話冇人.......入面環境氣氛都好好, 又有candle, 服務員好有禮貌,D野食完就會收左個空碟, 唔洗叫就會幫我地加水,可能睇完尋日個食評, D野食比預期中好gal bee, kimchi dumping 係side dish, 都OK~有個烤鳳梨牛肉,,加佢個strawberry sauce幾好味~同埋佢地送包, 有墨汁麵包同酒味麵包, 酒味香D,好味D

I met up with two friends for dinner on short notice. Although both of them are good friends whom I've known for years, dinner with the two of them together can be quite an affair. SOP calls for Korean, and ordering way too much food so that we leave the restaurant totally stuffed. We went to ChumChumMi, which was supposed to be Korean with a fusion bent. The menu was extensive, and while there were many traditional-looking dishes, there were also a few which raised an eyebrow or two. There

We went to ChumChumMi, which was supposed to be Korean with a fusion bent. The menu was extensive, and while there were many traditional-looking dishes, there were also a few which raised an eyebrow or two. There were also a selection of "Korean Royal Cuisine" but honestly I didn't see anything special about the dishes.

This sorry excuse for a restaurant failed so badly right from the start, and the hole just kept getting deeper. The whole restaurant was empty - we were the only table. The staff decided that the three of us only needed 2 menus, so we had to ask for another one for me.

We spent some time choosing the dishes we wanted to order, and called over a waitress. After listening to us ordering three dishes, she turned to leave us as she assumed that we were done with our ordering. We informed her that we were not finished, and asked whether she needed to write down the names of the dishes. No need, apparently. A manager came over, and he also confirmed that they would be able to remember all the dishes we were going to order. We pointed to the names of the dishes on the menu while placing our order. Nothing was written down despite our repeated requests.

Minutes later the manager returned and asked us to confirm a dish that we had ordered. We informed him that we did not order that particular dish, and proceeded to reconfirm each dish once again. He went away.

While waiting for our food, I decided to pick up a bread roll and spread some butter on part of it. I almost spat it out. The butter was stale and racid - it probably had been sitting out in room temperature for who knows how long. I asked my friends to stay away from the butter. I've never had a restaurant serve me stale butter like this. Ever.

Food started to arrive and things started to calm down, sort of. The chives mandu in small portion were OK, like Japanese gyoza. Samgeobsal kochoojang was pretty spicy, but I was a little disappointed in the three-layered pork - it was a little too shredded and there was not much fat. Sea whelk in spicy sour sauce with noodles also came as a small portion, and was pretty decent.

So daechang gui was by far our favorite dish. The ox intestine on the hotplate was just soooo yummy... I could have had the whole plate myself. The fried spring onions worked well with the intestine. Mini kimchijuns were disappointing - doughy and flabby when they should be more dry and crispy.

Seafood ddeokbokgi was from the "Korean Royal Cuisine" section. Now I'm no expert on Korean food, but my travels to Seoul tells me that ddeokbokgi is actually street food most popular on cold winter nights. Calling street food "royal cuisine" is an oxymoron. Instead of just rice cakes and simple fish cakes, the restaurant decided to make a "premium" version by using real seafood - like crab, mussels...etc. This was pretty spicy, too, as expected.

Pineapple bulgogi wasn't what I expected at all. It was nothing more than simple slices of stir-fried beef (perhaps tenderized with pineapple juice) with a few chunks of pineapple on the side.

We were also brought a plate of spicy seafood noodles. For some reason the restaurant thought we ordered this - yet another confusion thanks to their refusal to write down our orders. We sent it back, but they decided to give it to us anyway on a complimentary basis. After all, they had no other customers to give it to. It was bland and uninteresting.

For dessert we chose the preserved persimmon stuffed with mixed nuts and dried fruits. This was pretty good - stuffed with walnuts, black sesame...etc and garnished with pine nuts and jujube. The yuzu sauce was nice.

We were stuffed. On average the food was OK, although there were only at most two dishes which we liked. But what was up with the service?! These people - and there were at least four of them - were just totally clueless! If you don't know the names of the dishes, or can't remember the names beyond three dishes, use your pen and paper to write them down! How can they not understand something so basic?!

And what's with the manager's uniform jacket? The name of the restaurant was embroidered on the left sleeve of the guy's pin-stripe jacket, in the same spot where the mainland Chinese people used to show off the brand names of their jackets. Dude, I don't care about how cool your uniform is...I care about how good your service can be...

Three months after opening, at 8pm on a Wednesday night, in a busy shopping mall in Tsim Sha Tsui, the restaurant served three customers out of a capacity of about 60. The Japanese ramen shop next door is doing brisk business, so the restaurant is empty not for lack of traffic. Frankly, there's absolutely no reason for me to go back - not with uninspiring food and clueless staff. My friends and I give the place another three months...

二月十八日 (星期四)在機緣巧合的情況下,看到雜誌的免費情人節晚餐試食膽粗粗打電話一問,真有其事,我們更是最後的幾位"參賽者"早在個多星期前已預約了是晩到訪標價$480(每位)一個套餐的,如今是免費...總覺得有點怪怪的不過因為有雜誌做"擔保",所以我們都吃得頗放心Chumchum味...標榜的是韓式與西式的fusion菜內裡的裝潢一流,服務亦非常好每一碟菜服務員都有詳細的介紹有西式上菜的安排,亦因為是西式所以每人都有自已的份量...先上菜的是麵包在韓式餐廳吃麵包還是第一回一共有兩款,都是由廚師親手製的分別是提子味麥包和墨魚汁麵包墨魚汁意粉就吃得多但墨魚汁麵包原來都不錯,極富墨魚汁味作為餐前包一流而提子包亦很鬆軟,塗上牛油不錯人蔘士多啤梨汁沙律原以為會是很怪的組合但味道卻配得異常的好士多啤梨汁不是太濃,淡淡的滲入沙律內,很不錯而雜菜很新鮮,很爽脆鮮嫩人蔘雞湯老公仔的至愛每人都有大概分得四分一隻雞(細隻的)老公仔那碗是雞胸,而我的就是雞脾(都給了老公仔了)湯本身很清香,油不多似已煮了相當時間,鮮雞味已完全滲入了湯內加上少許人蔘的甘味,真是很享受人蔘漢堡扒是很西式的菜款漢堡扒煎得很香,牛肉

所以每人都有自已的份量...

先上菜的是麵包
在韓式餐廳吃麵包還是第一回
一共有兩款,都是由廚師親手製的
分別是提子味麥包和墨魚汁麵包
墨魚汁意粉就吃得多
但墨魚汁麵包原來都不錯,極富墨魚汁味
作為餐前包一流
而提子包亦很鬆軟,塗上牛油不錯

人蔘士多啤梨汁沙律
原以為會是很怪的組合
但味道卻配得異常的好
士多啤梨汁不是太濃,淡淡的滲入沙律內,很不錯
而雜菜很新鮮,很爽脆鮮嫩

人蔘雞湯
老公仔的至愛
每人都有大概分得四分一隻雞(細隻的)
老公仔那碗是雞胸,而我的就是雞脾(都給了老公仔了)

湯本身很清香,油不多
似已煮了相當時間,鮮雞味已完全滲入了湯內
加上少許人蔘的甘味,真是很享受

人蔘漢堡扒
是很西式的菜款
漢堡扒煎得很香,牛肉鮮嫩富濃味
內裡放了很多人蔘,但不太影響牛肉本身的鮮味,值得一讚


辣汁海鮮炒年糕
令到我倆都很感動的菜式-因為真是太辣了
幸好份量不多,我們還可勉強吃完
想應是好吃的,但因太辣,應不會吃得出海鮮不否真的"鮮"
有點小建議...再細心點的,可以按每位客人的要求調較辣度

韓式炒牛肉
最韓式的一款菜
可能真是太普通,在云云的菜式中比下去了,水準一般
宜配多點汁伴菜

甜品-人蔘柿子
非常非常別緻的甜品
我們都不捨得吃呢

將一些韓式配料釀入柿子中,可見廚師的細心
甜道則較甜,算來過甜甜蜜蜜的作結罷

味道是值得一讚的,加上fusion菜,有創意,值得鼓勵
又因為是免費,所以"低食"程度是最高
但若不計這個因素,每位$480一個餐又似乎貴了點...
服務,環境都是一絕,有興趣的情侶,又吃嫌了傳統西餐的
亦可以找個特別日子一試

星期日同朋友行街食飯,記得前一排响雜誌睇到有間新開韓國餐廳,於是就去一試,點知我哋行得太晏,已經過咗Lunch時間,唯有睇吓有咩食,估唔到呢問餐廳都有High Tea,見晏少少又約咗食飯,我又最鍾意食甜品於是我哋叫咗份2人份High Tea,有2杯茶及一個三層嘅小食架!!正!!有我最鍾意嘅''芝士餅'',朱古力蛋糕,仲有一款貌似漢堡飽嘅三文治,cute!!!我哋2個都要咗杯cappuccino,後來侍應生話比我哋知,原來所有都是厨師自己整,甚至乎件三文治的面包也是,面包裡面有少少果仁,好味!!件芝士餅原來叫''云石芝士'',朱古力蛋糕夠濃味,唔係太甜,我鍾意!!!cappuccino,good!!!原來仲有好多款韓式咖啡,早知叫兩杯唔同嘅咖啡試多D啦!!環境方面,正!!!我哋2個人坐張大梳化卡位,6個人都坐得落,坐落去好舒服,有唔想再行嘅感覺.!!總括來講我都好鍾意,只係失望在冇食佢哋嘅韓式食物,唯有有時間約多D朋友嚟食晚飯啦!!

面包裡面有少少果仁,好味!!
件芝士餅原來叫''云石芝士'',

朱古力蛋糕夠濃味,唔係太甜,我鍾意!!!

早知叫兩杯唔同嘅咖啡試多D啦!!
環境方面,正!!!
我哋2個人坐張大梳化卡位,
6個人都坐得落,坐落去好舒服,

總括來講我都好鍾意,
只係失望在冇食佢哋嘅韓式食物,
唯有有時間約多D朋友嚟食晚飯啦!!

Home made 墨汁包 - 鬆軟有緻,入面仲有粒粒果仁,感覺健康~
牛油果蝦沙律 - 新鮮彈牙嘅大蝦配以有機蔬菜,個 dressing清新好味非常~
煙三文魚卷 - 比較平凡嘅一道菜式,可以不吃~
宮廷年糕 - 味道甜甜,不滯不漏~
厚燒和牛 - 入口即溶,超值~
辣煮五花腩 - 異常惹味,一定要配白飯吃,吃完滿足到不得了~~
人蔘雞湯 - 真材實料,飲完人也仿似 genki 了~
軟心朱古力蛋糕 - 甜度剛剛好,令我呢個唔十分好甜品嘅異類都將其掃清, yummy~


新張期內仲有小禮物送添~ perfect~

Totally agree with the reviewer below . A waste of a restaurant -ChumchummiKorean fusion This place is styled in the fashion of lots of other hip eateries in the area: ash wood, smoked glass, large booth seating and lots of neon. It also has a club-like atmosphere, which sets up the attitude of the fusion menu. Totally agree with the reviewer below . A waste of a restaurant -

Chumchummi

Korean fusion

This place is styled in the fashion of lots of other hip eateries in the area: ash wood, smoked glass, large booth seating and lots of neon. It also has a club-like atmosphere, which sets up the attitude of the fusion menu.

But it’s more traditional Korean than fusion as the menu very much reads like that of Secret Garden or Sorabol with offerings such as galbe, jhap chae and seafood deokbokgi (spicy seafood rice cakes). We settled for the Royal Korean set menu ($98), which had a little bit of everything.

The rib was a Flintstone-sized hunk of meat with a belt of fat. This, I’m told by my fellow diner and food writer, is what gives this cut its tenderness. The sweet stock had a minimal hint of garlic. The meat itself was tender, but the bone and fat took up most of what was edible.

The clams in the clam and tofu soup were deflated. The heat of the soup was toned down by Korean standards, which means you end up tasting the brine of the pickle and the milky tofu, and not the spice.
Nothing about this set menu was fusion so we went for something of an oddity: the deok galbi (minced meatball) sandwich with ‘wine grain bread’ ($68). Our server announced the bread was ‘homemade’. No such thing. The bread was store bought, probably from a supermarket. We secretly hoped it would be our answer to New York’s Momofuku’s pork bun, but alas not.

The main event was the meatball, but since there was so much bread, it seemed like a rather sad Wimpy sandwich. “What a missed opportunity,” my fellow diner sighed.

前兩日同老公逛美麗華, 係個好隱蔽既角落見到間新開既韓國餐廳, 裝修同一般既韓國餐廳好唔同, 原來係韓國fusion菜, 由於本人好喜歡食韓國菜, 就決定試下.我地點咗宮廷年糕, 辣五花腩, 人蔘雞湯宮廷年糕跟一般辣炒年糕不一樣, 係唔辣既, 但好味辣五花腩非常好味, 並配兩個小人蔘飯團, 好特別, 個人非常推介此菜人蔘雞湯都可以, 重找到一小角鮑魚, 不過如果個湯人蔘味再重些就完美了.下次會再去試下其他菜式

辣五花腩非常好味, 並配兩個小人蔘飯團, 好特別, 個人非常推介此菜

人蔘雞湯都可以, 重找到一小角鮑魚, 不過如果個湯人蔘味再重些就完美了.

下次會再去試下其他菜式

此外, 靚女侍應姐姐見我們好欣賞墨汁包, 於是額外請我們食四個更軟口的墨汁包. 熱食配牛油, 非常好味.

不過, 遲點餐廳會改 menu, 前菜及甜品則要額外加錢, 但主菜款式則會多點.

總括而言, 我們對今次午飯非常滿足, 所以打算下星期再食

the first impression of this restaurant was fine, the atmosphere & the interior has a very western fine dinning style which i think is good for couples and people who don't wanna to be full of smell after having a korean food.

we've 4 for dinning and ordered few dishes spicy seafood noodle, ginseng chicken soup, wakyu steak, ginseng salad & korean pancake to share, the presentation of the dishes served in western style and they are decent enough but noodle is very tranditional which was very spicy... ginseng chicken soup is worth to try... and the wakyu steak, salad and the pancakes has a quality ingredients and up to standard taste.

the service and the opreation is not very smooth becuase i guess this is still a new restaurant but the staff are energetic and they provide many FREE things like the welcome drinks, coupons, discount and the crystal chopsitcks as welcome gift.

overall was satisfy and will come along with buddy again.

Chumchummi Tiramisu︰孖芝老公最怕甜到漏的甜品,難得這裡的提拉米蘇都能得他青睞~ 不會過份甜膩,入口即浴似的,有淡淡酒香,不錯!

這裡不像一般韓餐一窩蜂上菜的習慣,反而像西餐廳般,將之分為前菜、主菜等依次奉上,倆口子可更輕鬆地享受美食。
而且新張期間,餐廳更送上welcome drink 和小禮物,為一餐韓國菜更添完美。
