I wanted to order a quick take away to bring back to work and stopped by CitySuper's CookDeli section. At the very corner was a place called Relax Kitchen. Apparently, they served Vietnamese. They had the usual pho and rice dishes. But then they had something called a Vietnamese bento. Otherwise known as a set. Cost? $68.There was a big bowl of rice with two choices of protein. There was a big bowl of rice with two choices of protein. I chose lemongrass chicken wings and pork neck. There was also some choi sum and lots of spring onion on top. It came with a bowl of carrot and daikon soup, some pickled carrots and daikon and a khanom chan for dessert.
The rice was a bit dry but then take away rice is never really good. However, the pork neck was delicious. Grilled well and fully of flavor. The wings were still juicy as well. The soup was very savory. Not really sure why the pickles were placed in the same bowl as the dessert. But the dessert had a nice coconut taste. For the price, it was a lot of food with decent variety. Only the take away boxes weren't too stable and became soggy by the time I got it to work.
