這間餐廳的原址已換了好幾手了,今次又轉了做意大利餐廳。是日set lunch不太合胃口,索性散叫。Carbonara-煙肉有著微焦的香味,蛋汁還混入芫茜碎多了點清新,我再另加點黑胡椒後更帶香氣,而每條意粉均衡地沾了蛋黃白汁,只是意粉不夠al dente是一種缺憾。海鮮蕃茄risotto有青口、蜆、蝦等都很新鮮,味道很鮮甜,難怪要$205一客;可惜煮得很濕,有點似湯飯,而飯身的質感不似意大利米般煙韌有口勁。雖然是lunch time,但甜品也是不可缺,我要的Chocolate cake類似是雪榚蛋糕,周邊是蛋榚,中間是雪凍了的mousses,所以沒有軟滑質感,換來似是雪榚硬身,這更合我心意,消滅了一整碟後,非常開心又足滿。朋友的Panna cotta質地較實,可能魚膠太多的關係?奶味亦過重。朋友說始終是Grappa的Panna cotta最好食,所以以鎖定下星期去Grappa。其實食物出品算是不錯,但是侍應的服務真是不值一提,同意KC說他們是遊魂的。

雖然是lunch time,但甜品也是不可缺,我要的Chocolate cake類似是雪榚蛋糕,周邊是蛋榚,中間是雪凍了的mousses,所以沒有軟滑質感,換來似是雪榚硬身,這更合我心意,消滅了一整碟後,非常開心又足滿。

朋友的Panna cotta質地較實,可能魚膠太多的關係?奶味亦過重。朋友說始終是Grappa的Panna cotta最好食,所以以鎖定下星期去Grappa。

其實食物出品算是不錯,但是侍應的服務真是不值一提,同意KC說他們是遊魂的。

已看了不少關於這裡自製意粉的報導,有興趣,但到今時今日才有機會一試,皆因手頭上想試的店子實在太多了。約了朋友傾傾其日本之旅,就來了這裡。印象中這是間半露天的店子,是日見是閉上玻璃窗的,以為會涼快一點,但原來還是一般的熱,還要是越坐越熱的。午市有套餐供應,兩道菜是98蚊再加一,合理價錢。餐前的麵包是幾片切片的法包,前菜都要了沙律,簡單的沙律菜及紅黃椒,加入了油醋,味道也普通了一點。不過其準備功夫是做足的,如紅椒及黃椒也去了皮的,吃起來又甜又腍,不錯;主菜方面,大家都想吃意粉,為免重複,另一個主菜就要了燒羊脾。「是日意粉」是辣茄醬長通粉,看起來普通,吃起來也不見特別。長通粉不算是特別al dente,不太夠熱。辣醬汁反而不錯,但作為一間意粉專門店,有點令人失望。燒羊脾原來是一片片的肉,看起來燒得乾,也不似會好吃,但吃落又不錯。有羊羶味,肉質不算很軟熟,也不韌,配上肉汁,一致覺得,還有水準。配上的薯泥,好像比這裡掛頭牌的意粉更好。主菜後可選熱咖啡或雪糕,俱要了前者。咖啡幾甘苦,不夠香,但作為支持一個忙碌的下午的提神劑,則恰如其分。外籍侍應是絕對的遊魂,簡單的落單,只兩個客人,也搞幾次也搞錯的

. I key focus on its pizza..yummy yummy. It is really a outstanding good taste quality on pizza with inexpensive price. Worth to have a try at there. Hope more people to have a taste at that restaurant. That restaurant envoirnment also cosy, quiet and nice service. If the one who would like to hv Italian food , especially love to eat pizza in Central or HK side, I strongly recommend that place. Must Try!

My girlfriend and I love good food. And Italian cuisine comes high up in our list of favourites. Whilst walking around Lai Kwai Fong we were attracted by the lingering neon sign at the end of a side street and checked the menu out. My girlfriend and I love good food. And Italian cuisine comes high up in our list of favourites. I must separate, in my review of the place, the rating for courtesy (highest), service (excellent) and food (maybe a bad night for the chef, but below Italian standards).
Whilst the salad starter was good, fresh and appetizing, we were disappointed by the linguine con vongole (it lacked the exquisite flavour of the more tasty "vongole veraci" variant) and especially by the pizza. Now, a good pizza should always be crispy, whereas the dough of the one we were served was chewy and plastic tasting. Definitely a miss here.
The owner/manager was extremely kind, attentive and "simpatico" throughout the meal; hence, we still managed to have an enjoyable night out.

Dined at this restaurant twice in a week. The owner (or shop manager, not sure) was very nice. The food are reasonably priced and the environment is really cozy. The linguine with seafood is a MUST TRY, the sauce was sooooooooooooo good! The complimentary bread basket came with a garlic clove, dried tomato paste and butter, love the garlic, it's just a heavenly match with the bread :-)The Lobster Fetticine (we changed it to linguine) was ok. The Lobster Fetticine (we changed it to linguine) was ok. Like the pasta and the sauce, but the lobster was not as good.

I will definitely go back to try out more dishes !

I was recommended to try this restaurant by a friend, so I went ahead to book a table and asked for a lunch menu to be faxed over. The first day I called I received nothing, so I called again the next day, the waiter said he’ll fax me the menu, but after waiting half a day I still receive nothing. In the end it took me 4/5 phone calls to get the menu faxed. After this my instinct tells me not to go. After this my instinct tells me not to go. Surprise surprise, I received a phone call from the restaurant (on the day that I was supposed to have lunch), the guy asked me why I didn’t turn up and shouted at me for not turning up!!! Note, they didn’t even call me to re-confirm the booking on the day! What kind of service is that???!!!

A quiet, exotic place!

Starters:
Nice, soft bread with garlic

We ordered :

Salad Vanitosa $68. It was average.
Cozze alla Diavola $88. It was mussels. Fresh and soft!

Main dishes:
Pizza Capricciosa $92. Nice source, but we also think that it wasn\'t crispy enough.

Del Capitano $148. Pasta with Lobster. It\'s the most expensive among the dishes we ordered yet we think it\'s too creamy and filling. We only finished the lobster and half of the pasta.

Spaghetti alle Vongole $92. Spaghetti with clams. Good, nice spaghetti with clams yet the source wasn\'t so heavy.

Dessert:

Tiramisu $58. Very very tasty with rich cream, fair wine yet not too heavy. Looked good, smelled good and tasted good.

Pavlova $68. Excellent presentation with whipped cream and egg white and strawberries.

The restaurant is run by an Italian manager. It\'s a good place to spend a quality time here

Dinner in a group of 5 friends, sharing all dishes. Caprese salad - buffalo mozarella wonderful and fragrant, rivaling the one at four season's. Generous with the basil, dressed with chopped and topped with whole leaves. Carpaccio - beef not bad, dressing very light (or was it no dressing at all?). Caesar - nice crunchy fresh leaves, dressing was just right, no overpowering anchovies, and thankfully not oversalted.

3 pastas - bucatini, with spicy tomato and bacon. Good. Creamy cheesy spirals, steaming hot, al dente, also very good. Lasagna, portion relatively small, sitting on a bed of leaves. No need to try.

1 pizza - very good dough, slightly thicker than pizza express, with more personality, more chewy. Topped with thin lava of hot hot hot, simple, delicious cheese & tomato.

2 desserts - panna cotta surprisingly good. Great texture, none of the usual rubberiness. Crazy chocolate underwhelming.

Overall a very good experirence. Nice place for casual group gathering.

一行三人為其中一位慶祝生日...餐廳地點雖然偏離蘭桂芳大路...但尚算易找...一樓的位置也很清靜...旁邊充滿歐陸格調的窗戶輕輕開著...感覺寫意...是談天的好地方...友人說他們專人從意大利運來做pasta的機器...可以做八種不同的pasta..所以今次就一定要吃吃看.我們三個女的...胃口不算大..所以都是點來share...先叫了一個青口作appetizer...非常好吃...青口非常嫩口, 最impressive的是每枱必有的一整個焗蒜頭...起初我以為是炸的..後來友人說是焗的...因為蒜頭"外皮"是脆但蒜頭肉郤做得剛好熟...熟得變成了蒜泥...用來跟麵包一起吃最好...其後點了一個Parma Ham Pizza...又是好吃..喜歡它由內至外都是脆脆的...Pizza底也不油膩...反而...用四種不同芝士做的白汁長通粉相對地普通了一些...可能是跟我以前吃得太多即食microwave tv dinner 的味道太相似吧...但我也得公平的說句...他們的pasta質感造得相當好...很"煙韌"...我們每人也點了餐酒...我的merlot很不錯...很易入口...

意籍老闆Gaggio很友善...從他解釋做pasta的心得便知道他是一個用心的老闆...很可惜...另外招呼我們的侍應真的不夠水準...老實說...憑餐廳的格調...我會希望侍應能讓客人一坐下便介紹是日推介...甚至乎我主動問她為我們介紹一些好吃的...她便頓時語塞...及後問另一位侍應dessert menu的那是什麼...她竟然答不出來...感覺她們跟我們對餐廳的菜單一樣陌生...而且有位非華籍女侍應似乎跟我們溝通是出了點問題...起初以為她是因為背景音樂太大聲所以聽不到...但後來音樂停了才發現她其實是聽不懂(或者我該檢討一下我的英語水平)...基本上我們點一道菜起碼要重複三次她才明白...每次無論要添水或者換掉盛滿青口殼的碟子...都是要開聲提醒...感覺有點不夠細心...
但若侍應的表現能再進步一點...這餐廳便可以拿好高的分數囉

早兩日上左,幾鍾意環境,估唔到中環都會咁靜,開左隻窗咁幾有Feel。食物唔錯喎,薄餅幾鬆脆,料唔多但芝士好香,白汁意粉極好味,煙韌Creamy,係甜品差左少少,提拉米蘇唔夠酒香。不過計埋價錢,飲晒酒食到飽晒都不過位位$160,係中環真係平到笑。都會返轉頭既。

I've been to this same place in the past few years for french food, thai food (was crap), and now italian food.... they keep changing hands, maybe it's the feng shui, i've been told the temple at the end of the alley has something to do with it....it's on the 1st floor, with one side opening up like a balcony onto the street side, which gives it a breezy airy feel... the layout hasn't changed much and it looks pretty much the same as the past 2 restaurants... but it's comfortable for a nice dinn

it's on the 1st floor, with one side opening up like a balcony onto the street side, which gives it a breezy airy feel... the layout hasn't changed much and it looks pretty much the same as the past 2 restaurants... but it's comfortable for a nice dinner with friends or significant other.

the 2 owners are very friendly italians, one of whom used to work in Cenacolo as a manager, now he's the chef at this place... what a waste of his talents as a manager!!

The breadbasket came with sundried tomato pesto, butter and roasted whole bulb of garlic... bread was warm and lightly toasted, and went down well with the garlic. The only thing is that when i eat garlic like this, i get some queasy stomach ache if the garlic isn't cooked thoroughly, which happened in this case. The not-so-subtle difference between cooked and half-cooked garlic was very noticeable, the former spreadable like butter, the latter a bit like trying to ward off a vampire.

We ordered the bruschetta, which was OK, but nothing too exceptional as the bread was a bit too hard. Then we ordered the grilled portobello mushroom with goat cheese, the mushroom was OK, but the goat cheese was cracked and dry (i prefer the ones in Cenacolo, much larger portion and grilled to perfection). Then we ordered a Tuscan-style Panzanella salad, which was just tomatos and some goat cheese on a bed of leaves... it was simple yet tastefully done, and the tomatos were really fresh and sweet, imported direct from italy, we were assured. We didn't go for any main courses, but had a lobster linguine, which made my boyfriend blurt out "ho ho mei ah!"... Al dente, artfully cooked creamy sauce, and a half lobster that was done properly like it should be. My bf said the pasta was a little too narrow/thin to look like linguine, but since it was all homemade by our resident chef, i suppose they know what real linguine looks like.

They have a nice selection of dessert, but we were too full. And they are nice and down-to-earth enough to offer tap water, hate having to pay for something ridiculously priced in restaurants.
