Jack's Pizzeria (已搬遷) 新店位置

High street has been famous for its high quality of western food. And this Jack's pizzeria is one of my favourite pizza shops around the corner, the set lunches are starting from $60 with a can of coke, if you're a student you can even enjoy the student price of $50. I tried pepperoni pizza and my friend picked bbq spring chicken. My pizza was great, served hot with crispy texture, enough cheese and the bread wasnt as thick as I was eating toast. I have been going to this restaurant often now. This is because of many factors. Firstly, the food which taste great and authentic italian. They have wide variety of pizzas, pastas, salads and snacks. I have been trying different stuff with my every visit. Also, the owner has become a friend within these few visits. He is a friendly guy with proper knowledge of italian food and is a good company when I go alone. The menu prices are affordable+worth and they have interesting happy hour ($35) and

The attitude of the chef is quite rude but the food is great. So I think is a good choice for students.

I am completely beside myself after what I just experienced. We came in on a Friday night, most tables were taken so they seated us at a table that wasn't set. It took about 10 minutes before anyone came to take our drinks order. We had to ask twice for a proper tablecloth like all other tables had, and even then they wanted to give us paper placemats instead. After 45 minutes of being the this restaurant we still hadn't been served and were getting agitated. One server had told us that our wing

Went in with a 3 years old kid, the boss ( or that waiter) requested me to order 2 sets of lunch which is a 7" pizza or a pasta.I said my kid was 3 only and cannot finish a meal by himself.finally he said I can either order 2 meals or leave!!!! ok~ I left and definitely won't try anymoreAnd I won't suggest anyone to try this restaurant even U are easy to get a seat there with other restaurants are full.

Ordered: BBQ chicken pizza and Spaghetti Cabonara Pizza was okay and edible - tomato sauce was slightly too sweet and the crust was more like a cracker. Spaghetti Cabonara - not worth trying at all. I have had Cabonara at many other places and it is mainly made of spaghetti tossed and pan fried with cream, egg, bacon and topped with parmasan cheese. 自從地鐵開通的消息確定了, 高街的店鋪起了很大的變化, 像是中環soho延伸至此, 今天帶著小孩要在高街食Lunch, 要價錢合理又要合孩子口味, 就選了這間有pizza及意粉的! 入座時只有幾位中學生, 坐下後便越來越多, 幾乎滿座, 但除了我們三人, 其他都幾乎是中學生, 像是走進了中學生的飯堂呢!  Lunch set $50, 學生$40, 只有指定的pizza及意粉各一款, 送氣水一罐, 不提供清水! 我們2大1小要了各一款,Pizza 芝士味不錯, 皮也做得不錯, 有幾片腸, 但菠蘿只有4粒, 少了一點吧!  蕃茄味意粉有少許火腿及菇, 意粉質地及味道都ok, 但份量則參差, 我們的一碟較少, 反觀旁邊的中學生則較大碟, 眼見一位中學生來了一碟特大份量, 他吃了兩口自知吃不完而要求外賣飯盒, 但侍應表示沒有, 最後該學生食剩大半碟, 真是浪費!

一點前來到食午飯，空無一人，當然不用等位。餐牌上的都是意式的菜式，也比較昂貴，不過在西營盤這一帶，高檔餐廳愈來愈多，這價錢也是常見的了。1. 黑松露雞粒意大利飯 (約$105)看上去，明顯飯粒是熟透，但是水份卻多了一點。從香味來說，黑松露的氣味很香很濃。吃上去，飯粒不太像意大利飯的質感，也如想像中，水份過了，如果乾身一點會更好。整體也是中等水平。2. 招牌薄餅 芝士份量不錯，不會過多太膩。腸的味道也非常好。最重要的是，餅底是脆脆的。熱騰騰的，讚！3. 白汁煙三文魚扁意粉 (約$100)香味十足，但失望的是，不是扁意粉。我猜我們的概念不會錯，上碟的是闊條麵。看上去像是自家製的意粉；吃上去卻不像，意粉質感比較粗糙。飲品方面，超不值。起碼$30細細杯果汁。水也無。服務倒也不錯。
