幾年前去過先后,同一個位開返西餐,見間餐廳裝修得咁靚以為好浪漫,唔啱friends gathering vibe ,點知原來間餐廳有兩邊,今次係去bar & gill 嗰邊,個vibe好好,好啱friends gathering.唔飲酒,三個女仔試咗三杯mocktail, 分別係gold shimmer, mockingbird 同 scarlet buck, 三杯都係酸酸甜甜好啱口味好好飲,mockingbird 仲有個靚靚雀仔杯,打卡必備!Recommend 佢個blue carb fusilli,佢個texture 係會令人覺得越食越好味,勁煙韌,另外叫咗個gill 嘅sirloin,個樣好普通,但好好食,好juicy ,個side dish 薯條又係好好食,幼薯條,爽脆唔油膩。最後貪心叫咗兩個甜品,唔叫好特別,不過好大份好歡樂同好滿足

Recommend 佢個blue carb fusilli,佢個texture 係會令人覺得越食越好味,勁煙韌,另外叫咗個gill 嘅sirloin,個樣好普通,但好好食,好juicy ,個side dish 薯條又係好好食,幼薯條,爽脆唔油膩。
最後貪心叫咗兩個甜品,唔叫好特別,不過好大份好歡樂同好滿足

The neat décor has an artistic traditional vibe, most notably from the glass panels and intricate woodworks on the ceiling, as well as the tall and large windows of European designs. The ambience reminds me a bit of a Michelin-starred restaurants at a 5-star hotel in Kowloon. The night is quiet, without that many customers, perhaps as it is just before CNY and people generally prefer Chinese cuisine.

To start, I have a glass of E. Guigal Cotes du Rhone Blanc 2022 ($98). With a beautiful light gold colour, the wine has a fresh nose of honeysuckle, white peach and apricot, and some sweet spices which goes well with the red prawn crudo.

The Amuse Bouche is a small Brioche, hollowed to stuff with salmon mousse, delicious with a creamy and savoury taste. The few pickled onion on top helps to give acidity. Nice and appetizing.

For the starters, I order a Red Prawn Crudo ($388). The red prawn has been cut into thin slices, drizzled with some orange dressing instead of lemon to provide the acidity. A creative twist with good effect. Together with fennel jelly and dashi cream to add to the flavours, a delicious starter.

My wife has Seared Scallops ($238), with the two large scallops nicely seared with brown butter on both sides to give a caramelized surface while still maintain soft and tender on the inside. The umami of the scallops matches well with the rich, creamy and sweet corn puree too.

For the main course, I have chosen M9 Wagyu Sirloin ($588). The sirloin has been grilled beautifully to my requested medium level, juicy and tender. On the side are some tortellini with tendon stuffing, with also some morel and saffron emulsion to pair with the beef.

The wife has Prosciutto Wrapped Monkfish ($238), with the prosciutto providing a nice savoury taste to the monkfish. The port and wine jus, along with truffle foam, provides further dried fruit and earthy flavours to complement.

For dessert, I have the Chocolate Fondant ($128). Breaking the crust of the fondant the rich and delicious chocolate inside pours out, and on the side the crunchy dulce and caramel ice cream further adds sweetness to this indulgent dessert. Best if you have a sweet tooth.

My wife has Pistachio Crème Brulee ($128). On the crunchy caramel surface, the chef has scattered some pistachio for more texture and taste, while the crème brulee silky smooth and having a more mellow sweetness than the chocolate fondant.

Service is decent, with the staff courteous but did not do much to introduce the dishes or try to share more the stories of this place, or the background of the restaurant, which I think is a big miss given its rich history. The bill on the night is $2,050. To me it is a bit pricey.

We had dinner at their Dining Room, this modern European cuisine was impeccably prepared and presented.

The Hamachi and Fruit dish was a standout, with its bright and refreshing flavors of melon, grapes, dill, and apple vinaigrette.

The Pâté Campagne was rich and flavorful, served with a delightful winter fruit mustarda and toasted baguette.

The Landau's Choucroute Garnie, a dish with crispy and soft pork belly, marinated duck leg, sausage, and sauerkraut, was a true highlight, showcasing the chef's techniques.

For dessert, the Pistachio Crème Brûlée and Winter Nuts & Fruit Tart were both indulgent and delightful.

What really stood out to me was the attention to detail and the element of surprise in each dish. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was both Instagramable and thoughtful.

The generous portions also make Landau's an excellent choice for gathering with friends and celebrating special occasions.

前日同同事一行六人揀咗喺呢度食午餐。其實對於呢間餐廳真係冇咩好感,原因係佢剛開業的時候有同事試過午餐,結果等上餐就用上45 分鐘(所有打工仔大部份都係得一小時午膳,趕死人咩點可以好好用餐,好彩嘅係我哋係附近返工,以為佢新開張,所以不多不少都會有啲沒完善)我哋訂枱13:00, 12:45到達佢話未夠鐘冇位入坐,於是乖乖地等候,在等待其間要求落單先,以免耽誤用餐時間,點知門口帶位的外籍女侍應最初回覆話只有VIP先可以pre-order,真係第一次聽有咁嘅規定。最後12:50又話可以落order,真係唔知佢想點,我哋揀咗五個漢堡包餐,-個雞肉墨西哥餡餅。到13:00入座,放低幾杯水之後就開始等上前菜,大家一心以為餐湯或沙律會好快有,結果等到13:30先送到枱。之後如是者又等,其間已經查詢過幾次,答案只係話準備中,到最後有一個外籍男侍應走嚟話兩三分鐘之後就到。唯有再等,此時已經13:50分,佢嘅等餐時間一啲都冇改善過。三分鐘之後真係上咗嗰個墨西哥餡餅,其餘的又冇踪影。當時其他枱都已經上哂餐,只有我哋有呢個情況出現。結果五個同事用秒速吞唒呢個等了又等的午餐,而我覺得佢太離譜所以即時走咗。如果呢個

灣仔新開張歐陸餐廳Landau’s,每次行過都好搶眼,所以有時間就嚟食一餐!餐廳分咗兩邊,今次試Bar & Grill ,環境比較輕鬆寫意。先試蘑菇湯,雖然好味,但呢個價錢配埋麵包就更加perfect! 之後叫咗炸物拼盤,四種醬汁配四款炸物,好有心思,但係如果腸仔唔用羊肉就更加好。再叫咗卡邦尼,味道好好,但如果意粉幼身啲會更有口感。主食叫咗海鱸魚同pork ribs,大大份性價比幾高!甜品今次試咗香蕉船,香蕉用焦糖燒過,配埋三球雪糕,好滿足!總括嚟講,環境同服務都好好,係可以同朋友好舒服聚餐嘅地方!

論裝橫,香港都有為數不少嘅靚餐廳。呢間唔算最頂級靚,但聖誕樹配上玻璃畫天花,打咭一流,再配合音樂,整個氣氛好好,胃口都特別好。

侍應送上熱騰騰嘅麵包同畫龍點睛嘅自家製蒜香牛油,忍唔住食咗2個麵包。食完兩個麵包,都飽咗一半,唯有謹慎點餐,偏向點選特別菜色。呢度服務真心唔錯,餐廳Manager會因應我喜歡嘅食材同適合份量建議菜色,唔似一啲餐廳為sell而sell,又貴又唔好食。

侍應首先端上頭盤red prawn crudo及chestnut soup,呢兩道菜真係有驚喜!香港好少地方會做chestnut soup,呢度做得出色,稀稠程度適中,雖然加入鵝肝但又唔會覺得太溜,鵝肝味道不會過搶。red prawn crudo,加入檸檬果皮同自家醬汁,超醒胃,味道特別,屬於香港少有能夠品嚐嘅味道。如果食得落,真係想encore多次。友人點咗tomato labne salad,蕃茄鮮甜,yogurt醬汁都幾refreshing。

揀咗橙鯛魚柳做主菜。魚柳卷住蟹肉配柑橘Hollandaise醬汁。雖然味道鮮味濃郁但對我嚟講偏鹹,要飲多幾杯白酒中一中和。友人點咗M9和牛,和牛熟成度剛好。若然食材夠新鮮,基本上都錯唔到去邊,所以和牛都算係意料中味道。

雖然都好飽,但都忍唔住點咗兩款甜品—開心果crème brulee及朱古力心太軟。開心果crème brulee真係無得輸,口感軟滑,勝在唔太甜而開心果味突出。朱古力心太軟配焦糖雪糕亦算交足貨無欺場,朱古力味好濃。如果可以改配雲呢拿雪糕應該會更好。

總括而言,食物質素,服務水準,價錢都非常唔錯,算是灣仔區高質之選。

Pâté Campagne與平日吃到的肉醬不同,原來是非常傳統的法式做法,由鴨肉、豬肉及鴨肝製成,外層包了薄薄一層煙肉,香濃又富層次。香煎北海道帶子Scared Scallops很厚身,煎至中間半熟,吃得出是刺身級,配烤粟米及焦糖牛油,增添多重口感。Red Prawn Crudo紅蝦刺身薄片賣相繽紛精緻,入口鮮甜,帶點橙香,更特別加入dashi cream,令人驚喜!
其中一道主菜Red Roughy Roulade, jumbo lump crabmeat,在厚厚魚肉卷淋上香滑的荷蘭汁,入面原來釀了滿滿的蟹肉,喜歡吃海鮮的朋友一定鍾意!
酸菜香腸燉肉Landau's Choucroute Garnie就比較田園風,香脆軟嫩的豬腩肉,經理說鴨腿醃製了十小時,加上香腸和酸菜,食落啖啖肉。M9 Wagyu Sirloin和牛西冷生熟程度剛好,肉質細嫩,旁邊幾粒意大利雲吞竟然用上牛筋作餡料,al dente 的雲吞皮卻非我杯茶。
不得不提配菜Potatoes Dauphine,外層炸得金黃香口,中間是軟滑的薯蓉,令人吃不停口。
甜品必吃自家製的「開心果焦糖布丁」,開心果味非常濃郁,感覺很足料,味道不會太甜,焦糖面燒得香脆。朱古力流心蛋糕相對普通,友人卻喜歡搭配的焦糖牛奶雪糕。Winter Nut & Fruit Tart外表甚有冬日氣氛的,最適合喜歡乾果及果仁的朋友。

響平安夜搵餐飯食,本來都冇乜期望,原來冇乜期望就冇乜失望。路過囍帖街之後去到胡忠大廈,見到呢間餐廳冇乜人,就上咗去試吓,嗌咗個頭盤,一個湯,一個海鮮飯同埋一塊牛扒。個頭盤同埋普通餐廳冇乜分別,價錢一般,當然味道亦都一般般。個湯唔難飲,不過絕對唔係好飲。個海鮮飯比較特別少少,佢用咗海鮮加咗啲生粉煮咗一個芡,潷咗一殼白飯响個醬汁中間,味道其實冇乜嘢,同埋我去茶餐廳食嘅海鮮飯差不多,不過佢收咗我二百幾蚊。到到塊牛扒,話係澳洲和牛,塊扒薄咗少少,煮得熟咗少少,價錢二百幾蚊,以食牛扒嚟計其實佢唔過分,不過咁嘅水準就差啲。連少少嘅伴碟都冇,只係隔離上咗多一份薯條俾你,還好啲薯條都有一般嘅水準,整體嚟計服務其實都尚可,價錢兩個人食食咗$1200到,其實平安夜嚟計都唔算太過分,不過我相信我唔會再去。

今日lunch經過灣仔胡忠大厦行過2樓見到一間叫Landau’s西餐廳,從窗口望入去見到餐廳正中間有棵好大既聖誕樹,天花仲有個好靚圓拱型既玻璃畫燈箱,好靚好有聖誕氣氛,好想試下,就ad-hoc放工即刻就約埋個fd去試。問下先發現原來佢地新舖今日開張,咁啱我哋就係佢第一枱客人,餐廳原來有兩邊,一邊係Bar and Grill已經開左成個月,而呢一邊就係新開嘅Dining room,行比較fine dining路線。一開門入去見到個棵聖誕樹加埋個天花玻璃燈飾,心裏面嘩一聲,好grand好有氣氛,四周圍佈置都好簡潔舒服,裝修有品味。侍應帶咗我哋坐聖誕樹嘅旁邊個張枱,話影相靚啲喎。整體食飯嘅體驗唔錯,食物好有驚喜,侍應有禮貌服務周到,環境舒服寧靜有氣氛,已經諗住下次朋友生日會再嚟。

On a Winter Solstice Festival's Saturday, after wandering around the newly opened Hopewell Mall in Wan Chai, we stumbled upon a sleek and modern Western restaurant called Landau's. As it had only been open for a few days, we decided to give it a try for dinner as a group of three. 
The evening began on a promising note with the Snacks Combo, a sharing platter featuring fried wings, calamari, grilled sausages, and monkfish bites. It’s a fun starter that’s perfect for sharing, and the fried wings were particularly enjoyable, with their crispy coating and tender centre. We also added a Caesar Salad with grilled prawns, which was fresh, crisp, and elevated by the smoky, perfectly cooked prawns.
We each also ordered the Tomato & Basil Soup, served with croutons and green pesto. While the presentation was appealing, the soup itself was acceptable but nothing special, pleasant enough, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression.
For the mains, the Australian Wagyu Ribeye emerged as the unexpected highlight of the night. While the presentation was simple and could
benefit from some refinement, the steak itself was cooked well, with great flavour and a tender texture. The BBQ Pork Ribs were the most disappointing of the night, with some pieces overcooked and tough, making them bit difficult to enjoy, even though the bourbon BBQ sauce was decent.
The Spaghetti Carbonara, though not traditional in its execution, still delivered the familiar comforting notes of pancetta, egg yolk, and parmesan. As for the Baked Molten Whole Camembert, it was enjoyable enough but leaned on the forgettable side, a straightforward dish that didn’t stand out as much as the others.
To round off the meal, we tried two desserts. The Banana Split was a nostalgic treat, with brûléed banana adding a lovely caramelised touch. Paired with the trio of ice cream flavours, whipped cream, and toasted almonds, it was a sweet and cheerful end to the evening. The Apple Crumble, while pleasant, stayed on the simpler side, offering a cosy but unremarkable conclusion to the meal.
Overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience for three at a reasonable price. Landau’s delivers a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, and while some dishes shone brighter than others, there’s clear potential for this new spot. With several similar Western dining options in Wan Chai, it will be interesting to see how Landau’s develops and carves out its identity. Here’s wishing them success as they settle into the neighbourhood, we’re looking forward to seeing them grow!
