Friend suddenly arrived from out of town and stay at a hotel near Miso so decided to go there as it was near by. Went at 1pm and fairly quiet but music quite loud. I ordered the Sushi set, HKD110, and was very pleasantly surprised with what I got. Miso soup, salad, 13 pieces of sushi, egg custard dessert and ice-cream. All the fish was very fresh and I thought good value for the money. However, they charge extra $18 if you want coffee, ice lemon tea or coke.

Very nice interior design, dim lighting with cozy sofa, square seating areas seperated with high partition offering kind of privacy, practical in HK as people always talk loudly.Many choices for lunch menu, from sashimi / sushi sets, drill sets, noodle/udon, more than 20 choices, looks even more than their a la carte menu. Many choices for lunch menu, from sashimi / sushi sets, drill sets, noodle/udon, more than 20 choices, looks even more than their a la carte menu.


Price ranging from $100 to $180, however, so called SET LUNCH, drinks/dessert are NOT included, you need to add $18 EXTRA. This is what I called STINGY pricing strategy. Either,
1. DON'T call it "set lunch" if nothing else included apart from the main course, no combination at all
2. Mark up the price (i.e. Include the drinks price), customers will definitely feel more comfortable, HAPPIER
Regarding food quality, indeed not bad, but compare to the price they charge, shall be better.
1. Hand-roll is not so good, the seaweed is not freshly prepared and rather humid and no longer crispy, basically, no "content" at all but just a few slice of crab-stick (1/20 of a crab-stick). Tempura is nicely fried, 2 shrimps with vegetables, and the portion of Udon is perfect. BUT, they don't have tempura sauce.......
2. The teppanyaki chicken is tasty, no frozen smell, quite juicy. Some restaurants make it too dry, hard to chew. The rice is warmly served and portion is perfect as well.
3. We add the Additional $18 for a cup of coffee and ice-cream, the ice cream...as long as it costs extra (i.e. a la carte) and nothing special, it should be a little more than a one-bite scoop.
Serving time is quick, around 5 mintues, suitable for working class in that area. I went there before 1pm, easily get a seat without booking, and it's not full-house till 2pm.

Have been here a few times on binge eating sprees thanks to the discounts from the AE card. The handrolls here are very good - I've tried sea urchin and the spring onion chopped tuna ones. The filling actually goes all the way down to the last part of the hand roll - not something too common! The teppanyaki oysters are another of my favourite dishes here. Sushi is also fresh and of good quality.The salads tend to have more toppings than vegetables. Their crab roe salads have a wasabi mayonnaise

The salads tend to have more toppings than vegetables. Their crab roe salads have a wasabi mayonnaise dressing which some people may not like. The wasabi flavour is not too overpowering anyways. Sashimi salad has fresh sashimi in it, but not enough cucumber!

The garlic beef cubes are not that good though - can be quite chewy at times.

Foie gras egg roll is interesting - the foie gras and japanese egg actually go together. They've also toned down the sugar in the Japanese egg.

Note that there are certain things on the menu which are excluded from the credit card discounts (e.g. bento boxes, lobster), which the waiters will politely warn you of if you happen to order those things.

魚生非常新鮮..無論肉質、色澤都是尚好之品..一般香港人的最愛更是小了平常吃到的那份膩多了原本該有的魚鮮味...吞拿魚更是沒有了一後吃的的那種乾巴巴沒魚味的感覺..反而是魚鮮味十足...還有我個人最愛吃的"游"金魚更是小有的美味(當然不要跟高級的那些去比..)這個刺身的價錢跟一般貨源比較好的日本餐廳差不多... 但這家店的貨源顯然是特別的好..而且師傅刀功不錯~魚生的厚度大小都剛剛好..配上煮得不過硬不過軟..既香甜且棉軟煙韌的米飯..真的很好吃。

己有一段時間沒有去過MISO了, 看一看餐牌發現又貴了, 幸好今次是有人請的. 北海道海鮮刺身定食 - 海鮮刺身份量都OK多, 雖然唔清楚來源係米北海道, 但勝在新鮮, 清甜, 肥厚, 好正, 仲有跟麵豉湯, 盛惠$142 另叫了一杯 COFFEE, 加 $18, 當然係正, 而且鮮奶係座暖了上枱的, 非常細心

HOTATE - The sashimi and sushi came first, they were sweet, fresh and delicious!
GRILLED LOBSTER WITH MISO SAUCE - Next came the lobster, which really disappointed. At $220, this dish was not worth it at all. It was a small lobster cut in half and the meat had been scraped out and fried with onions mushroom and a lot of butter? you could hardly taste the meat (probably because there were none?) where did the whole body go?
GRILLED TOFU AND CRAB MEAT - When i ordered I was skeptical as to how they would 'grill' the tofu...then i realised...it was basically deep-fried. It had the skin like deep fried tofu, and on top were sauteed onions and crab meat. Whilst the portion of this was much more generous compared to the lobster, i was disappointed by how misleading the menu was again. Nonetheless, the dish itself was tasty.
SEAFOOD TEA POT SOUP - this arrived in a tea pot with a little tea cup to drink it from. Inside was a very small amount of seafood - much less than the one in central. Nonetheless the clear broth was very tasty (bonito i think).
Alaskan Crab Leg - this was fresh, but the portion was so small it was a rip off.

究竟海鹽同家用食鹽有咩分別?
鹽是每人每日必需吸取的維持生命原素。每人每日最多食一茶匙鹽,與一般的食鹽相比,海鹽是天然並沒有加工過的。海鹽可使人體恢復活力,因海鹽含有超過80種來自海洋裏的天然礦物質。天然海鹽與食鹽和精煉過的海鹽不同,海鹽所含的鈉較低,所以對高血壓的控制有極大助益,而且它所含的礦物質也很豐富。

五點雜錦魚生剌身 ($250) ~ 除了三文魚變了質以外,整體來說其他的魚都很鮮,入口甘甜,由其以元貝來說,肥大肉厚,不過以$250價錢來說,它好像貴了點。


拚當 ~ 賣相一般,但以$188價錢,那份量就少得可憐,以一個女孩子的份量都算少了,要食飽肯定要再order,否則像是食了空氣一樣。薑炒豚肉像用水煮的,一點味道都冇,只有大大隻的蝦天婦羅可以見人啊﹗


豬扒冷鳥冬 ($80) ~ 對烏冬有極度偏愛的我,當然不會放過喇﹗烏冬有兩款 ~ 普通鳥冬及稻亭烏冬,可選擇冷食或熱食,而且都不另收費
可惜烏冬不是什麼手打貨式,千萬不要期望過高,豬扒炸得死實實,口感就更莫提,就算不點都沒有什麼可惜。

SabuSabu 牛肉窩 ($180) ~ 成個面盆咁大,食哂都真係唔野少。
窩中的牛肉不過不失,但配菜與牛肉份量相比,就有點誇張,牛肉只是面頭看到的幾片,相反配菜(甘菇/洋蔥/黃牙白/粉絲) 就滿滿的一窩。雖然如此,味道卻很不錯,用來送飯是不錯的選擇﹗

去到尾聲,胃部都抗議了,實在沒有空間去容納甜品

今天到該店吃午餐~~~ 吃了SET LUNCH!!!最平的一個餐都要$65 野菜雜菌烏冬 (附送手卷, 刺身)雖然不算太貴, 因為份量十分夠, 但在好像東西大份了一點~~朋友吃了一個咖哩漢堡扒飯, 份量也是很大份~~味道可以!! 但賣相不太好....另一個朋友吃了壽司拼盤.... OK 呀!! 也是很大份... 魚生都很新鮮!!!環境都十分舒適.... 但服務不太好!! 侍應雖然有禮貌, 但常常叫苦連天的, 找不到人~~~~下次可以再去啊~~

雖然不算太貴, 因為份量十分夠, 但在好像東西大份了一點~~


朋友吃了一個咖哩漢堡扒飯, 份量也是很大份~~味道可以!! 但賣相不太好....

另一個朋友吃了壽司拼盤.... OK 呀!! 也是很大份... 魚生都很新鮮!!!

環境都十分舒適.... 但服務不太好!! 侍應雖然有禮貌, 但常常叫苦連天的, 找不到人~~~~


下次可以再去啊~~

Comments: 可能真係一分錢一分貨,同上次間 賀菊 真係冇得比,雖然大家同屬一個集團。佢地又搵一個新手嚟serve我地,個待應仲掛住個牌,上面寫住"I am New",真係比佢地激死。未試過可以慳返筆,無謂浪費金錢。

同男友拍拖11週年既日子... 揀左呢間因為男友張咭有半價! 極上刺身拼盆,材料好新鮮,有八款刺身,不過海膽既品種唔多好食...拖羅超肥,好似食緊肥豬肉咁... ^^"彩虹卷,味道一般... 我覺得元氣之前出既仲好食!香橙蜜味牛脷 - 又熱又軟,好好味!三文魚卷 - 我都係覺得元氣既好食d! 因為呢度落左wasibi! (個人喜好既問題)鵝肝牛油果加洲飯,超香,仲有2件鵝肝,不過好膩,多d人食會好d...串燒雞軟骨,普普通通啦!呢度既甜品都幾特別 - 呢個係三味之梅子,唔太甜,呢間好明顯係香港化左既日本料理店...和式菓子 - 都唔係太甜,墊底張紙超靚! 塊葉都靚...

為了魚生板飯, 又選擇了 Miso, 但今次試下尖咀呢間先!兩個人叫咗以下幾樣 share: 魚生板飯 - 個飯同中環的做法唔同, d 櫻花蝦同魚仔沒有撈在飯裡, 感覺唔同. 不過d 魚生都好新鮮(有6款: 帶子, 三文魚, 八爪魚, 吞拿, 油甘魚同三文魚子) 無咗牡丹蝦... 帶子依然係最正的!鹽燒三文魚頭 - 燒得剛剛好, 不會太咸亦不太乾炸帶子串 牛柳串燒 - 太乾, 太實 玉子燒 (蟹肉) - 比較失望, 只係玉子入面包住d蟹柳! 點出大場面?跟住食食下, 聽到隔離枱個女仔話有唔知乜野咬到佢手指好痕~~~ 我自己初時都不以為意, 點知我都中咗招... 都唔知係乜野咬... 多數係蚊掛! 因為我條腰同腳眼都好痕!!! 同朋友講, 跟住就急急腳埋單閃人啦~~~真係估唔到一間裝潢咁好的食店, 竟然有蚊患....

炸帶子串
牛柳串燒 - 太乾, 太實
玉子燒 (蟹肉) - 比較失望, 只係玉子入面包住d蟹柳! 點出大場面?

跟住食食下, 聽到隔離枱個女仔話有唔知乜野咬到佢手指好痕~~~ 我自己初時都不以為意, 點知我都中咗招... 都唔知係乜野咬... 多數係蚊掛! 因為我條腰同腳眼都好痕!!! 同朋友講, 跟住就急急腳埋單閃人啦~~~

真係估唔到一間裝潢咁好的食店, 竟然有蚊患....

美心集團旗下日本料理店,普通貨色。我們點了較貴的那一個壽司拼盤,可惜那些魚生看來並沒有想像中的新鮮,我吃了一件就停手了。鵝肝加州飯是這裡的創作fusion料理。通常一fusion,就代表不大好吃了。鵝肝是冷的, 很乾。僅有兩小件。不過這個飯好貴的!

Went to this jap restaurant to have din with my parents n gf ytd night. We ordered a egg pork chop rice, sushi set, curry beef tao fu and ox tongue. The egg pork chop rice is very good, the pork chop is very thick and the surface is very crispy, the middle is soft n juicy. The egg ontop of the rice n pork chop is still watery when its been served n it goes well with the sweet sauce n rice. The curry beef tao fu is so so la, very strong curry taste, but the tao fu has not much taste n the surface is a little bit fried but it turned out very soggy cos of the sauce ontop, if its still a bit crispy it would taste much better i think. The beet n vege are very fresh n nicely placed ontop of tao fu. The sushi set is very nice, the sashimi is very fresh and its been sliced quite thick very good, the amount of rice is just nice, wont take away the sashimi taste. good good good. Must try the ox tongue!!!!

聽日係男朋友既生日,今日提早一日同佢食餐飯....之前經過過係GATEWAY地下既"MISO"好多次, 但覺得都幾貴, 所以留番特別日子先去試, 但貴唔代表好食...我地叫左個二人套餐, 盛惠$698加多支清酒埋單加埋一成八舊幾, 但真係好一般LOR...叫做SERVICE算OK咁啦....總之唔會再去GA LA, MENU如下前菜三品 (河豚魚干, wasabi爽爽粒, 串燒帶子) : 魚干又暖又軟好好味...特上刺身盛合 (三文魚, 吞拿魚, 劍魚腩, 帶子) : 厚切, 算幾新鮮龍蝦仔黃金燒 : 將肉切粒+白汁+洋蔥+蘑菇再燒, 風味欠缺, 但不過不失美國西冷牛肉陶板燒 : 上台夠熱, 但牛肉好乾又鞋又好, 好難食.....口感似豬肉多d松葉蟹柳+野菜天婦羅 : 松葉蟹柳好林patpat, 以前未食過, 唔知本身係咪咁樣!? 天婦羅水汁ok, 粉唔會太厚, 南瓜炸到唔會太乾身而且夠味野菜烏冬+鐵板炒飯 : 烏冬彈牙好味, 但個飯只係暖暖地而且好乾又無咩食同料....綠茶雪糕 : 一般出面都食到, 無咩特別清酒 : 易入口呢個價錢食海鮮仲好....
