We have been regular customers here over the last 15 years. But the service has really declined recently and it seems the staff is totally new/different from what it was a few years ago. The service staff don't understand English and got our order totally wrong. 3 out of the 4 dishes we ordered were wrong because of this. The wine by the glass was also very small in terms of portion, maybe about 80ml when a standard glass is around 150ml. We ordered asparagus soup, rollmop, a ham & asparagus dis

But what came out was a different soup, a salmon instead of pork...you get the picture. The staff of this restaurant is totally new they are totally incompetent. Perhaps the ownership has changed although when I asked about this, they said its the same.

Friday evening, I went to LKF for some drinks and found this nice cozy bar. It is located between 2 loud pubs with very aggressive bouncers. I wanted a more quiet place to relax and enjoy some drinks and this was what I was looking for. The bartender was friendly and took my order. My long island was prepared nicely and exactly how I like it. They also serve food here, but the kitchen was already closed. Maybe I will try it the next time. Next I ordered a Mojito. Friday evening, I went to LKF for some drinks and found this nice cozy bar. It is located between 2 loud pubs with very aggressive bouncers. 今日男朋友生日,就要帶佢食一啲有格調嘅餐廳。所以就選擇左德國菜,貪佢夠大份之餘,又夠得體。所以我哋就去咗中環呢一間德國餐廳。食得德國菜就一定要食德國豬手,呢度嘅德國豬手好香脆,亦都夠大份。上碟已經幫你切好咗,所以唔使咁麻煩就已經食得。豬手焗得好香脆,外皮好鬆化,肉質亦都好淋,亦保持粉嫩嘅感覺。另外都配左一個薯蓉,牛油味好香,好好味!不過我個人唔鍾意德國酸菜,因為覺得太酸,所以我就冇食到,評價唔到。另外我哋都好鍾意食德國腸仔,所以就叫左德國腸拼盤。佢可以單點的,所以我哋叫咗四款腸,其實我都唔識分邊隻打邊隻,總之全部都幾好味!最後我哋兩個都食得好飽,大家都好滿足。

豬手焗得好香脆,外皮好鬆化,肉質亦都好淋,亦保持粉嫩嘅感覺。另外都配左一個薯蓉,牛油味好香,好好味!

不過我個人唔鍾意德國酸菜,因為覺得太酸,所以我就冇食到,評價唔到。


另外我哋都好鍾意食德國腸仔,
所以就叫左德國腸拼盤。佢可以單點的,所以我哋叫咗四款腸,其實我都唔識分邊隻打邊隻,總之全部都幾好味!


最後我哋兩個都食得好飽,大家都好滿足。

生日揀左呢度食飯,試德國餐廳必吃的豬手,德國腸,牛扒另外叫左牛扒沙律等豬手皮唔脆絶對係罪大惡極,仲要望落係唔夠一隻完整的豬手,酸菜只得個酸字;重點,切餅費$200,貴唔緊要,佢電腦單無出切餅費,但又不重新入單,員工自己袋的感覺的感覺好強。唔值得去食

Well, as the header says, Schnurrbart is here forever. Opposite the California building, it is small, with 3-4 tables outside on the steep D'Aguilar road. customers seem to be regular. I was there today for Lunch and being a Swiss, I ordered a Veal Sausage. my menu change request to Potato salad instead of roasted ones, was confirmed without hesitation. what came was good but not Michelin star level. For 128 HKG you can not complain. Value for money! The story with the draft beer was different.

It arrives after 7 minutes, good. but the bad thing is that your beer is warm after the Holy 7 minutes. I keep it like the Aussies : don't waste your time and serve it ice cold. wondering, how they do on busy weekends if everyone needs to wait 7 minutes for a tinny 3 dl glass? owner might have to push it up to pay his rent

我有陣時會挑起條筋想食德國鹹豬手,就會黎到蘭桂坊嘅呢間德國餐廳食。呢度嘅德國鹹豬手外皮焗得好脆好香,令到我一舊都唔想嘥,好似話鹹豬手陣皮係要用啤酒一層一層咁樣油上去,焗一陣又油多次,先做到咁金黃咁脆既效果,裏面啲豬肉鹹香鹹香,好滑,一d都唔老,送啤酒真係一流。仲有另外嘅薯蓉同埋酸菜,薯蓉夠晒牛油味,晏得夠綿,食唔到雜粒,酸菜我就麻麻,但好解油膩!呢餐真係肥到豬咁

呢度嘅德國鹹豬手外皮焗得好脆好香,令到我一舊都唔想嘥,好似話鹹豬手陣皮係要用啤酒一層一層咁樣油上去,焗一陣又油多次,先做到咁金黃咁脆既效果,裏面啲豬肉鹹香鹹香,好滑,一d都唔老,送啤酒真係一流。
仲有另外嘅薯蓉同埋酸菜,薯蓉夠晒牛油味,晏得夠綿,食唔到雜粒,酸菜我就麻麻,但好解油膩!

呢餐真係肥到豬咁

早排突然好掛住德國跟住睇openrice見到原來LKF有間德國餐廳所以又捉個fd去試成日行過LKF的時候都會見到有好多人在出面飲酒如果唔係睇過openrice都唔知原來入面係有得食野的 哈哈放工走入去一睇menu德文啊 *v*諗起之前在德國exchange的時候...menu都唔多識睇要係咁google translate (仲要有時trans完都唔知係乜來)好懷念啊~~好啦呢度既有德文又有英文, 都ok gei在德國的時候成日試周圍的啤酒不過之前飲過果d呢度都好似冇..所以就求其叫左就算喇都係d唔係好濃味的啤酒~~(試過飲黑啤, 嘩....真係頂唔順)其實想試多d野但兩條友又唔係食得好多最後就剩係叫左一個豬手睇下食完夠唔夠飽先(話時話果陣o係德國都冇食過豬手...其實幾可惜我食的德國豬手都反而係在香港食的 =.=)薯蓉好好味~超多酸菜, 好味~~食個豬手食得勁辛苦, 用盡九牛二虎之力先切到d肉出來...個皮好硬啊..食完晒呢個dish, 再加埋飲埋杯啤酒其實都幾飽 =.=之後就冇再叫其他野lu甜品, 但係佢原來o係我寫食評呢一刻(2014年1月)已經執左..所以...唔使寫啦

食個豬手食得勁辛苦, 用盡九牛二虎之力先切到d肉出來...
個皮好硬啊..

食完晒呢個dish, 再加埋飲埋杯啤酒
其實都幾飽 =.=
之後就冇再叫其他野lu
[再之後就去左chocoholic食甜品, 但係佢原來o係我寫食評呢一刻(2014年1月)已經執左..所以...唔使寫啦 ><]

第一次去 Schnurrbart, service 真係麻麻地, 老外們 dap 左兩杯個個都勁 hyper, 成個場都幾嘈下.由於 happy hour 仲未過, 先 order 三杯德國啤酒....Konig ($38): 其實不太喜歡啤酒既味道, 不過一場黎到整番杯試下. Konig 頂頭有好似梳乎里既綿細啤酒泡, 味道先甘繼而甜最後又帶點苦, 唔識飲酒既我覺得同本地啤酒差唔多. 去得德國餐廳, 烤豬手同德國腸又點少得?!Pork Knuckle ($198): 一大隻烤豬手配薯蓉及酸菜, 豬手可以成隻上或者廚師幫手切埋, 當然要佢 chop 埋啦! 隻烤豬手好好食, 肉質好似雞翼果D肉咁嫩滑, 真係可以講得話"皮脆肉嫩"! 而薯蓉亦得到一致好評, 超香牛油味! Konig ($38): 其實不太喜歡啤酒既味道, 不過一場黎到整番杯試下. Konig 頂頭有好似梳乎里既綿細啤酒泡, 味道先甘繼而甜最後又帶點苦, 唔識飲酒既我覺得同本地啤酒差唔多.

Apple strudel ($45): 上台時仲標緊煙 (呢度所有野都係即整). 焗完既 apple strudel 蘋果仲 keep 到有 d 爽口, 不太甜, 配上 vanilla sauce, 味道不錯!

本身 waitress 叫我地9點交還番張台, 最後我地坐到近11 點! 個場 keep 住一有人走就即刻有人入, 老外佔左八成, 呢度既主菜真係唔錯! 以上既野食加埋 $583 , 最 surprise 係無加一!

When the food arrived, it was nicely presented. However, after a few bites of my Schnitzel, I was convinced that I am eating pork, and not veal. I have confronted the waitress who confirmed that it supposed to be veal. I called for the chef to examine the Schnitzel. Although she agreed that it lacks the white color that usually found with veal and I invited her to smell, she insisted that my Schnitzel is veal. Despite that I was still convinced that I ate pork, no one actually was addressing the fact that I was not pleased with my meal. Given the case that it would be veal, it is not a compliment when I explain that it tastes AND smells like pork. I was left alone to eat red-colored, pork-smelling "veal".

My wife’s pork knuckle did not meet expectation as well. It lacked crunchiness, the meat was chewy - as if a previous cooked knuckle was re-heated.
Even if the poor food was a one-time incident, the staff should know how to address an unhappy customer.

一行9人去食,睇返個餐單d 野食唔會話太貴咁,都係賺你酒水啦各類可樂/果汁類 $35 1杯啤酒就唔同牌子唔同,大約6x 左右其實都叫左好多野,3份ham +麵包o既前菜一份雜腸,一份炸豬柳,4份meet ball, 一份牛肉腸一份沙律等等....講返重點幾樣菜啦雜腸併盆無咩特別,全部都係超市買到o既腸,但算煎得幾香,幫你切開左方面你食咁meet ball初初以為係肉圓咁,點之原來係漢堡扒咁,夠熱,有肉汁,但比較"鞋"咸豬手好耐無食咸豬手,見到佢炸完出黎,皮夠脆,肉就真係十分之乾,我未食過咁乾o既豬手,但勝在係香口ps:佢d 配菜幾好食,薯溶同酸菜都好大份量的

ps:佢d 配菜幾好食,薯溶同酸菜都好大份量的

約為食友人泥狂食肉飲啤酒,好寫意滿足德國嘢點少得咸豬手,wah,好大隻,好味D皮脆硬適中,皮下亦有適量脂肪,但唔漏,正伴碟的酸菜幾酸,不過真係有咁嘅需要,好大碟肉要中和吓另外有碟雜腸,purely 係肉,當真唔錯的,雖不及咸豬手正,但餸啤酒是一流每人兩杯好飲德國生啤,餐後抱住個肚返工繼續博殺

German food is pretty hearty, so I dispensed with starters and went straight for the schweinshaxe - the famed roasted pork knuckle. It's been a long time since I last enjoyed this dish, and I was not disappointed.The meat was roasted so it was dry and crispy on the outside, while still retaining some moisture inside. The crispy, slightly hard skin was superb - crunchy in the mouth but worked perfectly with the soft layer of fat just underneath the skin. There is very little to complain about her

The meat was roasted so it was dry and crispy on the outside, while still retaining some moisture inside. The crispy, slightly hard skin was superb - crunchy in the mouth but worked perfectly with the soft layer of fat just underneath the skin. There is very little to complain about here. I didn't touch the big blob of mash on my plate, but did enjoy the sauerkraut very much.

I also had a taste of the currywurst, which is something I wanted to try for a long time after seeing it on TV. I didn't find the curry taste strong enough, and wish that they had sprinkled some curry powder on top to spice it up more...

happy hour,來老蘭,大路之選朋友帶來這邊,未來過咪試下,要德國啤,Konig是好選擇淡口的,對女仔來說,幾合適,環境也不錯,而且並不貴埋單好似六十,友人埋左就謝過
