Was told this was a legendary place was well hidden in Soho and I am not surprised that the pilgrimage did indeed take a long time up the infamous central hills. This place is extremely dog friendly, every single four legged pet will refuse to leave the place.🍚 Vegetable Banh Mi - I thoroughly enjoyed the crunch of the baguettee and the pickled vegetables, smashed with just-riped avocado smeared throughout. While it doesn't have pate, it sure does a very nice meatless Banh Mi! I do want to commend their filling to bun ratio, which has been by far the BEST in Hong Kong.🍚 Vegetable rice paper rolls - the fillings were very similar to the Banh Mi, while sauce wise was veering away from the traditional peanut sauce, but felt like nice smoot peanut butter - which was different but still acceptable!The place also has great outdoor seating, not a lot of views but very nice under a warm sun in winter.

本來想去利源東街間Bánh Mì Kitchen試下佢嘅越南法包，但由於我哋太遲去佢好早就賣晒啦！於是喺Google Maps搵到呢一間位於蘇豪區嘅越南小店🇻🇳由於真係比較隱世，要靠google map先搵到😂路口會有店鋪指示牌，跟住行就會見到。店鋪只有outside可以坐，冬天會比較舒服，呢到就連店員都係純正嘅越南人👍🏼•🌯Signature Bánh Mì (HKD 68)法包即叫即烘，外脆內軟，睇相都清楚見到法包脆到龜裂😂蘿蔔絲和甘筍絲比例較多，配合豬腩肉、肝醬，餡料新鮮而且味道均衡👍🏼最重要有芫茜做點綴，如果有埋扎肉同燻蹄，就夠哂Signature❣️

Always my favorite simple food fromVietnam. Have tried lots in Vietnam and here in Hong Kong.Came from hiking up to and back from the peak, noticed this gorgeous colour sign pointing to the shop.Love an outside area.Banh mi the bread was so nice crunchie yet soft. Ingredients were enough and fresh. Enjoyed ! Will return.Service was simple and excellent.Recommended

After trying a couple of the most recommended Bánh Mì's in Hong Kong, this is the place I visit again and again. The team behind Soho Bánh Mì are passionate about the food they produce and have pride in what they put together. This shows through in the taste and quality of their food. Everything down to the plates they use and the branding is well designed and top notch too. In the first weeks that they opened they asked customers if anything needed to be tweaked and listened to any suggestions they had- showing how much they care about customer satisfaction. The roast pork, páte and pickled veggies are all made in-house with their own recipes and you can taste the freshness and the tlc that goes into them. The bread is delivered daily by a local baker and the crunch is fantastic. I can wholeheartedly recommend the signature bánh mì and the Vietnamese iced coffee. The summer rolls are also brilliant- the home made peanut sauce that comes with them is also incredibly tasty! They occasionally have daily specials on the menu too which I keep saying I'll try but the signature bánh mì is so good its always a tough choice not to order it. A massive thumbs up to the Soho Bánh Mì, well done! (p.s. the team are also super friendly and will welcome you with a smile before serving you some brilliant food)

First visit to Soho Banh Mi was a disappointment, as it was a Tuesday and the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. I decided to try my luck again after working out in the hood on a Saturday evening. And this time, luck was on my side!Staff appear to be Vietnamese, as they were speaking Vietnamese to each other to communicate customers’ orders. They were very friendly. During my visit, the cashier lady was chatting with another customer about their lives in America.I was lucky this time to have the last fish banh mi, as it was a very busy Saturday for the restaurant. The sandwich was freshly made upon ordering. Baguette had a crispy top, wrapping the whole bunch of veggies inside. The veggies were slightly seasoned with some sauce. Fish cake was okay, it didn’t really taste like fish though. I opted for spicy sauce, however, the hot sauce could only be tasted at the end of the sandwich, and it wasn’t really spicy…
