有少少似西班牙海鮮飯🥘但用上一種米粒型嘅意粉Fregola,比起一般嘅大粒、煙韌,好好咬好正😍!
醬汁有少少蕃茄味酸酸辣辣,夠晒惹味!
值得但係真係當中嘅海鮮質素超高,幾乎係我喺香港食過最出色嘅青口,係creamy都有種食緊蠔嘅感覺🤩!
另外蝦、墨魚都非常彈牙,仲分別有成三四嚿,真係好味又抵食,一定要試吓!

☞ Squid Ink Spaghetti with sea urchin, crab meat, lobster sauce $179 (4.3/5)
呢個墨汁意粉都幾香🥰唔係醬汁用上墨汁,而係每條麵條都用墨汁搓成,箇中彈牙嘅口感幾獨一無二。
相反醬汁係龍蝦汁🦞都幾重鮮味,而且仲加上大量海膽蟹肉醬,帶有少少蟹膏嘅油分,好味!

☞ French Toast $108 (2.5/5)
兩道主菜都非常突出,唯獨係呢一個真係大失所望🤥。
完全同兩大塊厚白麵包冇分別,只係表面加咗極少量嘅蛋漿煎,一啲都唔香脆,而且個麵包亦冇特別鬆軟,唯一可取之處可能係健康。。。
另外有啲蜜糖、香蕉、士多啤梨、藍莓,但都覺得唔值呢個價🙈。

💞整體來講
其實兩個主菜真係好好味好出色,尤其係個海鮮飯嘅海鮮質素真係好高,令人回味無窮💖餐廳唔算好大,但感覺舒適,而且店員都幾有禮貌,食得開心舒服,只要唔好嗌French toast就得🙈。

剛試業兩、三星期,便去試吓這間新餐廳位於PMQ附近,很容易找到!吃完三款菜式已經很喜歡這餐廳,坐位寬躺,老闆Jack and Summer 親自打理, 服務態度非常好及親切,食物好味有創意。所以今日再去試第二次,order 左好多不同的菜式嘗試,都係咁好吃,每樣食物都熱辣辣送到客人枱面上,沒有令我們失望。我個人喜歡吃taro tartare, 清酒蜆,Ramen Carbonara with wague beef slices, squid ink spaghetti with crab meat and sea urchin, 燒鷄串等等。希望疫情快過去,讓所有食肆可做晚餐啦!

Umami Factory is a relatively new (opened for a month) international restaurant located on the slope of Aberdeen Street in Central. It is definitely worth the climb to get to these reasonably priced delicious dishes!My friend and I ordered two dishes to share as a weekend brunch. First one was this Ramen Carbonara with Wagyu Beef Slice. This dish seriously blew our minds! We could never imagine al dente ramen can be so delicious with carbonara sauce and no soup base! A superb fusion dish indeed!

My friend and I ordered two dishes to share as a weekend brunch. First one was this Ramen Carbonara with Wagyu Beef Slice. This dish seriously blew our minds! We could never imagine al dente ramen can be so delicious with carbonara sauce and no soup base! A superb fusion dish indeed! The bacon stripes stole the thunder of wagyu beef slice. Oh well, it’s carbonara.

The other dish we ordered was Umami Beef Burger with fries. The fries were the best kind you can get! Thick cut, freshly fried with crunchy surface. The burger was oh-so-good also! Fluffy bun with crispy top, the beef patty was so thick, meaty and juicy! The mustard sauce, juicy tomato and fresh veggies were all right to the point. There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like about this dish.

Definitely visiting Umami Factory again to try out their desserts.

餐廳係PMQ上一條街,地點好易搵最緊要坐位唔迫,坐得好舒服!餐廳仲好細心,坐低就提供口罩袋同紙巾(疫情下相當緊要,每次都好珍惜出街食飯的機會)有Lunch set叫,中環嚟講價錢相當合理我叫咗咖哩吉烈豬扒飯豬扒好香口,入面仲好juicy如果咖哩汁多番啲,就仲正!墨汁意粉配蟹肉龍蝦汁上枱時仲出哂煙~ 好掛汁,要encore!薯條配wasabi 醬,又熱又脆卜卜,成碟KO無難度Staff好nice,會主動加水見menu 好似有酒飲,如果夜市開番,要再試🍸

第二次來這裡,初次去時找老闆推介菜式,每一道都有驚喜,所以昨天再來。「#脆炸北海道五花腩」(Deep fried Hokkaido Pork belly with Puttanesca sauce),記得第一次是晚上去吃,對於小店,晚上也隨時能提供如此新鮮香口的炸豬肉令我很驚訝,入口更證明是即點即炸,不是放了一整天翻炸出來,第二次再去必點,要印證多一次,發現水準也能保持!另外廚師還以 #紅橡葉 (Oak Leaf) 入食,可以讓我們包著五花腩品嚐,清新爽脆的紅橡葉,吃出另一口感之餘並可減輕少少罪惡感!必點推介!

Walked past and saw that this relaxing little bistro newly opened above our favourite pho place, decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by fresh and high quality ingredients, thoughtful and delicately designed fusion dishes, and knowledgeable service from the two owners running front of house themselves. We were pleasantly surprised by fresh and high quality ingredients, thoughtful and delicately designed fusion dishes, and knowledgeable service from the two owners running front of house themselves.


Every dish was steaming hot and fresh out of the kitchen (hot and crunchy chicken karaage with honey mustard was the first dish out and really hit the spot). Salt is restrained and allowed the ingredients and flavour combinations to truly shine.


Standout flavours and textures:
* Wasabi mayo for fries had the perfect balance of creamy and pungent
* Balsamic vinegar “caviar” pearls and Parmesan foam were excellent foil for the ham and melon
* Clams in sake - small and very fresh, wanted to drink all the soup
* Red snapper - perfectly fried with crispy skin. Every other element (pepper coulis, roasted cherry tomato, mushrooms, broccolini) were also just right
* I did not have high hopes for the uni pasta, and was proven wrong. The whole uni piece was large and generous, not to mention fresh and sweet. Better than what I’ve recently ordered plane-fresh from a specialist vendor. For a small operation where it’s impossible to plan how many orders will come in for this highly perishable item, this was truly amazing to me. So much heart.
* Carbonara ramen with a lovely Wagyu blanket is a stroke of genius. Bouncy ramen coated in cheesy sauce. Really appreciate that the bacon chunks were high quality, not just random chewy stuff. The touch of grated turnip and edible flowers were a nice nod of Japanese detail.


The chocolate milkshake was more slushie than creamy, topped with an Oreo, half a chocolate chip cookie, and a triangle of toblerone.


Too full for dessert, will come back for it next time.
