文記就算在米芝蓮的加持之前, 已是深水埗的排長龍名店, 獲得必比登推介後, 基本上由早到晚也有人潮, 和其他連鎖車仔麵店不同的做法, 是不會在其他地方開分店, 反而在同一條街四間舖頭開, 除了可即時擴大店家面積作分流, 也強化了它在尖沙咀的稱霸形象, 對食客而言食物水準也更接近統一, 因為QC也更方便.沒有太多新奇𠮩𠹌的菜式, 就是做好每一道基本, 例如酸齋的外脆內軟及甜酸相融的味道, 內臟的乾淨及入味, 魷魚的爽彈, 魚肉的軟糯和魚香, 再加上自家辣醬和菜甫, 簡單直接但不令人失望, 價格不算最便宜, 但以米芝蓮來說已是平民價, 作為欣賞車仔麵這傳統港式小食的起點, 沒有什麼可以挑剔的.Man Kee, a renowned noodle shop in Sham Shui Po, was already popular before receiving Michelin recognition.
