Seared Tiger Prawn Pasta with Creamy Sea Urchin Sauce (虎蝦海膽醬意大利麵) $128


The pasta is cooked perfectly. Al dente. Fully cooked with a tender bite. This impressed me a lot and I don’t know why 😂.


The sauce is very light and subtle, little to no sea urchin flavor. But the little creamy tomato-y sauce stuck onto the linguine very well and made it taste good.


As well as 1 tiger prawn that was very mushy and hard to peel, there is also 3 regular prawns which is a bit over cooked and 3 cherry tomatoes that have exploded.


The portion is enough for 1 person with a big stomach.

Torched Halibut Fin with Asparagus Risotto (炙燒左口魚邊配蘆筍意大利飯)$148


The risotto itself is very bland and taste only of cream and stock. The halibut made the bite much better as it is very fatty and the extra torching made it melt even more, sadly there was only a limited amount of halibut.


The asparagus were all cut into different shapes and sizes, hard to eat with the risotto. Some were also wilted and soggy, not crunchy and crisp as it’s supposed to be. There is also not a lot of it, maybe even less than the halibut 😬.


We used the Mentaiko Mayonnaise from the fries to eat with the bland risotto, much better.


On the bright side, the texture of the risotto is perfect, a tiny bite on the mushy side but feels how risotto should be.


The portion is also just enough for 1 person with small stomach.

Mentaiko Mayonnaise Fries (明太子醬薯條) $48

Very large portion, needed 3 people to finish. The fries were obviously not fresh and homemade, exactly the same as the ones from MCD if not a bit less crunchy.


The Mentaiko Mayonnaise is a lot thicker than expected, the taste is great though, salty and fishy. But the texture made it hard to stick to the fries and it constantly fell off.

The service is very bad. We wanted to order but the 3 staffs were busy chatting on the table, the waitress also always only refilled 2/3 of our cups 😐.

I don’t recommend anything I had today 😔. Even though the Risotto and Pasta is a Chef Recommendation 😶.

💬 Overall, this restaurant doesn’t serve bad food but they should not raise your expectations with their wordy menu. For example, the Seared Tiger Prawn Pasta with Creamy Sea Urchin Sauce would have tasted better if they just said Seared Tiger Prawn Pasta and charged $90 instead.
