大約兩星期前，在 Openrice 新餐廳資料找到一間位於半山堅道119-125號的英式 cafe Rosie jean's cafe！ 於是，我約了來自英國的 BBC 食友 Supersupergirl 一起嚐英式甜點！ 我們沿堅道行，店子正是城皇街附近，很容易找到！ Around 2 weeks ago, I found out a new British cafe Rosie jean's cafe on list at Openrice! 當我們踏進店子，簡約優雅的英式裝潢已吸引眼球！ 從來自英國的撥輪舊電話、羅馬數字巨鐘、家品小點綴、可愛的佈置...每一角落也滲出英倫風格及店主的心思！ When we came in, the place was simply & elegant decoration in Brtish sytle which attracted our eyes! Each corner filled with British style and the owner's idea!
這裡佔地過千呎！走到後門位置，除了空間感充裕的露天茶座之外，最令我們驚喜的是有一個遊樂場！ 跟隔離的幼稚園共用！家長們不要開心得太早啊！因為，每位小朋友盛惠 $20！( 只在週末開放 ) 小朋友必定樂在其中，不捨得走！ 對大人來說，也是一個石屎森林中的神秘後花園！ 悠閒舒適！店內播放的竟是 Lady Gaga 的勁歌，跟 cafe 的環境似乎有點格格不入！ 可能是店主喜歡 Lady Gaga 的源故吧！
There were over 1,000feet! Beside of outdoor area was behind of the cafe, we were surprised with the playground which was sharing with the nursery! So lovely! Each child have to pay $20! ( It is opened at weekends ) Children must have fun! For adult, it would be a secret garden for relaxing where between many buildings!
While it was broadcasting to the songs of Lady Gaga! Perhaps, the cafe owner likes Lady Gaga!
此外！提供 BB 椅給小朋友！認真照顧周到！ Moreover! They offered baby chairs for kid! They concerned what we need!
至於食物方面，店方供應英式甜點、蛋糕、早餐、奄列、三文治、Bagel、Quiche、沙律、湯，果汁、咖啡及茶...等！當然不少得因應小朋友份量的迷你版美食！ For food, they provided British Cakes and Treats, All Day Breakfast, Omelette, Sandwiches, Bagel, Quiche, Salad, Soup, Fruits, Coffee & Tea...etc. Of course including mini food for kids!
店員們很友善有禮！ 我還碰見一位很面善又漂亮的愛爾蘭籍 (IBC) 女店員！ 她推介一些美食給我們！ We were served by nice & friendly staffs! Oh! I saw someone who was so familar & pretty! She was an IBC staff from Ireland! And, she recommended some fine food for us!
由於，以自助形式，我們直接向店員落單及付款後，隨即給予一個電子裝置，閃燈時可提取食物！方便又先進！
After we placed our orders & payment, the staff gave us an electronic device! If it was
flashing, we could get our food! So convenient & high tech
我的選擇 My choice :Earl Grey $37
我期望以英式茶具奉上，怎料用上茶壺及咖啡杯！真令人失望！ 還要用上來自英國的品牌 TWININGS 茶包；其實！在超級市場也可以買到！
泡茶的水溫夠熱，讓茶香發揮得淋漓盡致！茶包浸泡過後，茶色清澈！茶味芳香怡人！
清涼的天氣下，的確幾暖胃！
As I expeced they will served with English style tea pot & cups! However! It was served with a tea sets! Really disappointed! And also, nothing special about they used TWININGS tea bag from England! It was slight flavor!
Crunchy Hummus Sandwiches $60烘熱的三文治包身超脆卜卜！ 豐富的配料包括：甘筍、紅椒、紫洋蔥、青瓜，口感清爽！色彩繽紛的賣相富有層次感！令人更開胃！雞心豆蓉混合了咖哩沙律醬汁，帶出微辣更惹味！ 整體是多重口感集於一身的美味配搭！
Freshly baked bread was super crunchy! Wow! Filled with vegetables liked carrots, red pepper, purple onion, cucumber. Hummus mixed with curry vinaigrette was a little bit spicy! It was a delectable mixture of flavours!
Flapjack $25這是英式甜燕麥餅！屬健康小甜點！好一件充滿燕麥小磚！外表平實！驟眼看硬蹦蹦！ 食起來並非預期中硬！卻是極富嚼勁！ 混入牛油，略帶牛油香！我們卻不太喜歡那種牛油味！混合些少提子乾，亦令整體不至太乾寡。不算甜！一試無妨！
Flapjack is a British snack which was made of oats! It really looked like a brick! The texture was so chewy, not so hard as expected! It mixed with butter, but we didn't like it's smell! Also, it mixed with dried grape, not so sweet & not too dry! Let's try!
Supersupergirl 的選擇 Supersupergirl's choice :Ham and Cheese Sandwiches $60
烘熱的三文治包面香脆可口！跟我那份一樣！芝士味滿載真誘人！ 夾住溶掉的芝士及火腿，啖啖芝味！鹹度適中！整體簡單而美味！令人無法抗拒！
The crust was very crunchy, just same as mine! It was rich and tasty as a big slice of cheese infused in it. So flavorful!
Carrot Cake $45蛋糕頂加上檸檬皮作點綴，感覺清新！ 以金筍為材，頗有新鮮感！而且食得健康！蛋糕食落軟硬適中，質感濕潤帶黏，甜味點到即止！相比 Flapjack 甜一點！表面用上芝士忌廉，減少膩滯感！而且，入口即溶！整體配合得宜！很是討好！
Carrot Cake was decorated by a bit of lemon skin, so refresh! It was made of carrot which was quite healthy! Itself was moist and soft with sticky! It was more sweet than Flapjack a little bit! Besides, creamcheese could reduce sweetness! It was pretty good!
Conclusion:We were impressed from the playground behind of the cafe! Top marks for service & environment! Food was a delight for our mouth!
Before I left, I went to toilet, I found out a Kid toilet by the side of an adult toilet! They concerned what we and children need!
這間歡迎小朋友的英式 cafe，在香港的確難得一見！ 相信可吸引更多一家大細去幫襯！就算是獨自走來嘆杯茶/咖啡，也感到遠離繁囂的悠閒！服務及環境滿分！食物也滿足我們的口味！最欣賞店主的心思及細心！完全貼合食客所需！
