Both food and services are disappointing. We came here for birthday celebration, spent >1500hkd per person but felt like the entire meal was a waste of money and time.We booked the table for 7:30pm and arrived on time but were not seated until 8pm. We booked the table for 7:30pm and arrived on time but were not seated until 8pm. When we finally got in, we ended up spending A LOT of time throughout the night waiting for our food to arrive. They kept forgetting the food we ordered, forgetting to provide the right tableware for the dishes. Even worst, they put “Happy Anniversary” on our card, but we came here for birthday celebration. The staff confirmed the occasion with me beforehand via whatsapp so I really didn’t expect they would made such mistake.
As to the food, we ordered the special occasion menu which includes the oyster and lobster soup for starters, Lobster and ribeye for main, and had asparagus and macaroni as side dish. The lobster and lobster soup was okay, the ribeye was dry, chewy and flavourless, the side dishes were cold when it was served.
This restaurant was recommended in a lot of articles when I was searching online for a birthday celebration restaurant, I was one of those who read these post and fell for that. My advice to everyone, don’t believe those online posts and don’t bother to come here for any type of celebration if you don’t wanna get your night ruined.
