absolutely delicious and rich, loved the springy lobster and fish stomach in it. the vegetables were also diced super finely which i loved. this seemed like the best fusion of western cream of corn and chinese chicken seafood soup.

pan-fried scallops and egg white.
silky soft egg white with crisp peas and extremely flavorful (huge) scallop, lovely char on the scallop and the egg whites themselves have a savory taste to it that was light and enjoyable.

stir-fried Kuruma prawn with tomato sauce.
prawn was ginormous and the head had so much meat and 蝦膏, meat is not tough but also not melt-in-your-mouth. i also sucked on the shell and there is so much flavor!! the sauce is oceans deep and honestly so memorable and delicious. the potato waffles did not make sense to me but tasted good with the sauce.

slow-cooked duck breast with red wine.
generous portion of duck breast, nice and tender meat, occasionally tough. but skin not crispy at all and haven’t rendered out enough as it’s still chewy and white. sauce reminds me more of hoisin and soy sauce rather than red wine. on the side is a normal television-dinner style veggies that was a tad bit salty but not bad.

braised fish maw with rice.
super generous with fish maw, chewy and springy, my favorite. the sauce is absolutely packed with flavor and umami-ness, pairs amazingly well with the soft rice, although could have putted more sauce. portion is good and not too big.

desert combo: coconut mung bean jelly, strawberry moon cakee, chocolate moon cake.
loved the refreshing coconut jelly with a mild sweetness and super creamy. they also gave some moo cakes as they were tasting flavors and wanted to see which to sell in the future. the strawberry one is very unique with a buttery crust, filling is very distinctly strawberry and a bit too sweet for me but quite enjoyable. chocolate one tasted like a brownie with a buttery pastry on the outside, not bad but too fudgy and sweet.

also ordered the crispy rice crackers with prawns in pomelo sauce $288, 6 gigantic plump shrimps on crispy rice cracker, super generous sized prawns and a bit too sweet pomelo sauce. highly recommend.
overall, came here to celebrate a birthday and left feeling very happy and satisfied. they also give free 3 hour parking if you spend enough at their restaurant. the service is also very good with polite and attentive staff. would definitely come again as the amount and quality of food is definitely worth the price.
