After experiencing a really great burger here last time - a few weeks has passed before I got a Beef Burger craving again, so let's give it another try! (1) HEINEKEN bottled beer nice and chilled!(2) POUTINE Fries :The fries are the the skin-on type. Whilst I liked the potatoes, I thought the gravy quality was not 'meaty' enough in taste and it was definitely way too thin. It also needed a bit more cheese to make it a real Poutine. This was meant to have mushrooms added but the order was missed.
When this arrived, I knew that it wouldn't be as good as burger I got last time. The obvious problem being that the pattie was too overcooked, leaving the centre a bit 'drier' than its potential....
The Damper Bread was also way too cold this time around, because it was not toasted in a synchronised enough manner, as I could see that it has been taken off the broiler top and put into the paper box minutes before the pattie was put on and the burger assembled. NOT GOOD!
Perhaps the less-than-satisfactory result is due to the shop being packed that night. I could clearly see that others' burgers suffered the same, OVERCOOKED fate. I thought I should also mention that the guy doing the cooking that night didn't look all too experienced and enthusiastic enough, and other helpers ran about too much like headless chickens rather than each doing their own jobs properly.... some of them even touching the food without latex gloves, then proceeding to open door, accept money, etc. ITS VERY NOT HYGIENIC.

The lady cooking my burger last time really did a much better job last time around.
Now, I finally understand why sometimes people complain about the burger quality here as well as the overly dried patty - it seems too variable. (whereas my last experience here was highly satisfying, with beef jus leaking down like a downpour).
HOW ABOUT TRAINING THE STAFF SO THAT THEY TAKE MORE CARE WITH COOKING THE FOOD, AS WELL AS HAVING MORE HYGIENE EDUCATION? ITS HUMAN SWINE INFLUENZA PEAK PERIOD.....
