Came here to celebrate my grandma’s 104th birthday. She only likes “Cantonese” cuisine and she still has a sensitive palette that I need to please. Hence, I chose this place- knowing Summer Palace’s authentic offerings. It was a good decision. She tried every dish and gave her approval. The roast pork belly and chau siu were both top notch. The roast pork belly and chau siu were both top notch. Tender and juicy with balance flavor. The steamed frogs was tender and timing was just right in the steamer. The shrimp w black garlic in casserole tasted fresh with balanced seasoning. The minced quail meat lettuce wrap was juicy and not dry. The vermicelli with crab meat and scallop was not oily.
All and all, they all came out perfect. They gave my grandma gigantic longevity bun at the end of the meal.
Service was attentive and ambience was classy oriental.
