I came to Science Park to visit my friend who works there. We arrived early for lunch and sat near the bookshelf decorated with books and some plants. Coincidently , after checking the set menu, we both picked the same set lunch dishes - Salad and Lamb Shank.Salad should be the easiest dish to prepare but the sauce seemed not to blend well with the ingredients. We waited for main course over 25 minutes and no waiter would come to make courtesy gesture. We lost patience and asked the waiter if she could have a check with the kitchen and she then said it took some time. It arrived 5 mins later.
The lamb shank tasted ok but a bit small. The greasy part was not trimmed out before it was served.
During lunch, there were flying gnats hoovering above our table. Strange nothing was done in preventing this irritating issue.
The restaurant is nicely decorated and the name "Food Lab" gives us an expectation that restaurant is passion of great food creation. Unfortunately, we did not feel any surprises in this food experience. We hope it will produce better dishes in our next visit.
