This was our second visit to this restaurant since its opening earlier in the month. We had a Winter Melon soup to start off with. Good and solid ingredients, tasty too but typical of most Chinese restaurants, some of my foreign friends could feel the effect of MSG in the soup.

Then came the signature dish of Baked Lobster in Cheese with E-noodles as base. Standard stuff, no surprises and no disappointment.

One dish which really impressed us was the Crab in Black Pepper Sauce. Unlike those in Singapore, this was prepared 'wet' and the sauce was particularly tasty. We were encouraged to order some bread to soak up the sauce, which we gladly did. In fact the sauce was so beautifully made that it would go well with noodles, rice, almost anything at all.

We had 2 vegetable dishes - worth mentioning was the Pomelo skin. This dish can really make or break a restaurant as the skills involved are so complex that any tiny mistake will be magnified to any seasoned foodie. This is probably one of the best I have tasted in Hong Kong.

The desserts - we did manage to try a variety of them, some of them was standard, some of them a little below expectation and some were definitely pleasant surprises.

The service was attentive, and the staff were quite knowledgeable in their signature dishes.

As with any restaurant that has a menu of nearly 200 dishes, one has to be careful with what to order. By trial and error, one will be able to find some hidden surprises outside of those signature dishes that won't break one's bank. I will definitely return.
