I was thinking of some strong spiced cuisine to round up this daunting week, my friend recommended this Indian restaurant that has been here for years believing with high quality.

Lighting was cozy with simplistic lamps and paintings as decoration. Staff greeted with big smile and efficiently arranging seats.

Menu served variety of dishes that made the decision harder. We ended up ordering Hara Bhara Kebab, Fish Tikka, Chicken Jaipuri, Corn Palak, Garlic Naan and Tulsi Paratha.

First came was the Hara Bhara Kebab. It was a spinach based potato pancake serving in three pieces. Pancake was crispy but not oily. The pancake was made with silky smooth potato that the texture was very satiating. The crunch was the mixed vegetables stuffed. It was well spiced and aromatic. A very good start.

Moving on, the Fish Tikka came. It was served on a sizzling hot pan. Fish fillets was served on some raw onions which was frying on the hot pan. Fish was incredibly soft and well cooked! Even it was served on a sizzling hot pan, it didn't end up overcook! A very good job. It was well marinated as well with a hint of smoky flavour. A big thumb up! Even the raw onion served below the fish, it was quickly cooked that brought a smoky onion flavour. Highly recommended to eat the onion with the fish.

Chicken Jaipuri and Corn Palak were served after with the Garlic Naan and Tulsi Paratha. Chicken Jaipuri was a tomato based curry. Tangy with an after kick. Personally it was not an intense flavoured dish. Chicken was moist in big chunks and absorbed all the curry. If you are looking for a strong flavour dish, this dish may not be suitable for you.
Corn palak was a spinach based corn curry. It was more on a runny side. Surprisingly, it was full of herby taste instead of spiced and of course with a little bite of heat. Corn added texture. Serving with the Garlic Naan and Tulsi Paratha, every bite was an explosion of flavour. Garlic Naan was soft and airy. It was a bit disappointed that it didn't have a stronger garlicky taste. Anyway it was fluffy and perfect to dip with the curry. Tulsi Paratha was an Indian pastry sprinkled with Basil. Tulsi Paratha was flaky with a hint of basil. It wasn't a fluffy type but it could still easy to coat with curry. Both were perfect to serve with curry.

After filling up my stomach, I usually clean my palate with a cup of Masala Chai tea. It was prepared with fresh boiling water that the mug was too hot to even hold it. This time, the tea was slight too milky. The Chai tea flavour became more intense after finishing half a mug. With the masala spice, it felt like giving you a cozy warm hug. Highly recommend to drink it after your whole feast.

It was a delicious satiating dinner. Staff was nice and helpful. Understanding some customers may not be familiar with Indian cuisine that they will introduce patiently. Some may concern ordering dishes that may not know how to pronounce, they provided numbering beside each dish, so that only saying which number you would like to order will still make an order. A thoughtful quality restaurant that you worry less but receiving a huge enjoyment.
