I think I walk by this coffee shop hundreds of times. It's near Sogo and honestly to easy to miss. But I saw a sign that said coffee .. turn left.And so I peeked and there it was. A very tiny coffee shop. It's run by one barista who does everything. There are two tiny tables on the side along with seats on the barista bar area. It's that tiny.Menu is in English and Chinese. Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. They serve various coffees and non coffee drinks. There are also some baked goods that change regularly. The baked goodies compliment coffee so you won't find strange things like all day breakfast and pasta here. YAY!
As it was my first time here, I had a Latte ($36). Beautiful latte art. It was a decent size and quite good. Coffee was smooth and smelled fantastic. A slight nutty aroma with no aftertaste.
Among the baked goods, I noticed a Carrot Cake ($45). Not as sweet as the usual carrot cake but still nice and crumbly though a tad dry in some parts. But it was fine. The cream cheese frosting was delicious and not overly sweet. There were bits of pecans and dried fruit. A good slice to compliment coffee.
A lovely little place with a friendly barista that seemed very passionate about her work. Will definitely be back.
