Pan de Pain is a Japanese cafe specializes in handcrafted pancakes which are freshly made with premium flour and 3.6 milk from Japan. Located in K11 mall, it is runs by a local head chef who has drawn inspiration from Tokyo, where also serves hotcakes in soufflé style, French toast, breakfast food and sandwiches for all day enjoyment. Rarely seen, the must-order soufflé hotcakes are indeed thick, fluffy and light. They can be effortlessly cut apart, served with whipped butter, soft whipped cream

On the visit, I particularly like the signature French toast. The chunks of French baguette have caramelized crispy crust with a soft center, served with real-good Movenpick vanilla ice ream and some fresh fruits on the side. They are well executed.
