A quiet cafe with decent food

If you are looking for a quiet place or you don't want spend time waiting in line, the Mall Cafe would be a good choice for you.The Cafe actually offer more than western food.  They also provide Asian food, like Singaporean Seafood Laksa, Indonesian Nasi Goreng, different types of sandwiches and burgers. If you are looking for a quiet place or you don't want spend time waiting in line, the Mall Cafe would be a good choice for you.

The Cafe actually offer more than western food.  They also provide Asian food, like Singaporean Seafood Laksa, Indonesian Nasi Goreng, different types of sandwiches and burgers. They also have set dinners (around $350/ set) and children set meal ($80).

My friend and I opted for the baby back ribs and lamb sticks. Talking about the ribs, the meat is super tender. You can easily separate the meat from the bones. This is preferred especially for ladies. And the rock salt is sparsely sprinkled on the ribs which add flavor to the meat. The fried sweet potatoes are another highlight. The are quite sweet as how they are called.

 As for the lamb sticks, the highlights are the deep fried garlic on the top. The taste for this dish is up to standard. But I think that it would be a bonus if they offer choices for the sauce, like black pepper sauce, Bourguignonne sauce or truffle sauce which is available for beef tenderloin.

 We also paid around $50 more for the additional self-served salad. At the salad bar, there are a range of fresh vegetables and salad dressings to choose from. Daily soups are also available. Just help yourself. But a word of reminder, sharing of the salad is not allowed. There is a waiter monitoring around 5 tables. They know how many self-served salad you have ordered. But of course, you can always refill it for yourself. The salad set also comes with a complimentary drinks. So its around $200 something for a full set of dinner which is more economical than ordering a set dinner, with a complimentary dessert.
