13 of us went for dinner at FA at nine. it was still crowded at nine so we had to wait for a while before we could settle down-lucky that we had booked a table in advance.the long table was comforty but it was a bit hard for us to chat and talk...a round table would do the job but of course we wont have that elsewhere than chinese restaurants.anyways, we ordered:Hot appetizer comboX2Rigatoni BologneseXFamily PortionBaked Sausage Stauffed Pasta ShellsXFamily PortionSpaghetti with PomodoroXRegular

the appetizers were good. the new york wings was yummy and went well with the blue cheese dressing; the deep-fried soft shell crab was basically a must-have at FA's! but it would be be better if they could include more variety in the combos, say putting in some baked potato skin instead of calamari.
The salads and bread basket were good, and refillable-the veggie balanced off the meaty meal we were having!
The huge pizzas then came first- they were indeed VERY BIG and covered half of the table each! the crust was thin, not crispy but a little chewy, and the toppings were nicely seasoned and fresh. i love the simplicity of the Margherita especially-it is one of the best i have ever had at FA!
The three pastas followed. I love the Baked Pasta Shells for it was not too heavy, but the creamy sauce was lovely. When compared the Pigatoni Bolognese was a bit ordinary and not as surprising as the former!
I thought we were entitled to a free slice of bday cake but then we were told we wont get it, because we had used the $1 pasta coupon and we could not enjoy two discounts at once.
anyways, the atmosphere of this restaurant was so good that we actually sat for another half and hour before moving to another place for dessert. we paid 110 each(and treated the bday boy), and this is definitely a bargain, giving that we were eating in no place else but soho!
