Wo Kee is a prominent gem in Sai Kung. The food is never spectacular 100% across the board, but the restaurant is: everything is always "good" at a minimum, often "great", and sometimes "absolutely stellar", no matter what the meal: breakfast, lunch, tea, supper. The scramble egg on rice dishes (char siu and egg 叉燒炒蛋、chrysanthemum egg 芙蓉蛋、 shrimp and egg 蝦仁炒蛋) especially get big smiles in my family, while the eggplant and tofu noodles (炸茄子豆腐米線) is the pick-me-up I go for during a busy weekend wh
The staff are always warm and friendly, and treat everyone like family. If you don't read Chinese, no problem -- they have an English menu (although the daily dishes are somewhat out of date). If you don't speak Cantonese, no problem -- always someone who speaks Mandarin or English on staff. Well recommended.
