Today I get to off work a bit earlier, checked on ig that they will open today at 1715, so I left work at 1700 to walk there. I was the fifth in line this time! The queue behind me was crazy! Even longer than last time. The store opened at 1715 to let us in, suddenly the rain started pouring! Lucky us! I texted my colleagues to add onto my order, so I bought 1 chocolate puff for myself, and 2 for her.
The chocolate puff was made with Belgium chocolate, in Chinese, it’s called a messy puff. You’ll know why when you dig in! The cream was mixed with chocolate, topped with a drip of real chocolate, which hardens when in contact with the cold cream. The mochi was also mixed with cocoa powder, however, i do prefer the original mochi, as the cocoa overpowered its rustic taste. Powdered in generous cocoa powder, it does gets a lottle messy! The puff was greatly baked with slightly caramelised sugar, i recommend to eat it right away! As the puff will lose its crispiness if you put in the fridge.
Yum yum! Oh and it’s $28 each, need to taste it to see if it’s worth both the time and value!
