me and my boyfriend went there to celebrate our anniversary. Since I'm from the UK, this seem a good choice. However, it was a dissappointing experience.I ordered the steak and kidney pie and my bf ordered lamb masala dry and since mine needed 30mins, we ordered onion soup to keep us busy. The onion soup was very tasty and the right amount of cheese. Then my pie came and sad to say it wasn't a pice, it was a puff pastry in a soup bowl. The onion soup was very tasty and the right amount of cheese. Then my pie came and sad to say it wasn't a pice, it was a puff pastry in a soup bowl. The ones you get if you order puff pastry soup from pizza hut!
It also didn't come with chip which is odd as most british dishes have either mashed potatoes, chips or roast potatoes. I found i had to order a side of fries but it took forever and by the time it came, i made them re-heat my so called pie.
My Bf dish came and the lamb was soft and juicy but the plate of condiments was awful. There was a spice sauce that tasted horrible and I couldn't try anything else on the plate.
Finally, we had enough and was waiting for the bill but all this time no one came to clean out table. We have over 5 plates of eaten food stacked up.
Overall, it was a rip off as it cost $950 and the service was ok but very slow. They had about 7-8 tables of customers but didn't seem to be able to accomodate.
How dissappointing considering it's suggest authentic british food. Unfortunately that is not the case and will not be going back.
