Everything was going smoothly until dessert. In response to our specific question on whether an allergic ingredient was present, the waiter came back with a firm "NO", after discussing with the chef. They confirmed that it was a look-alike ingredient and we ought not to worry. At our first taste, we knew we were in big trouble...it turned out that they DID include the ingredient abundantly (chef had a taste afterwards and admitted it. how could this happen?)... after some massive forced puking a
They waived the price of my husband's meal but we paid for my portion in full (I suppose the nerve wrecking experience has nothing to do with my portion of the food). It was not about the food quality nor the price, but a lack of communication between staff and the very poor service, that earned them a poor rating. Food allergy can be a matter of life and death, and should be considered as basic training for chef and waiters.
