Remembered the first time I came to Anthony, it was my parents' friend brought us there to have dinner, cause we would like to try something new rather than the chinese seafood in Sai Kung. The first impression was a little bit disappointed when I came to the shop and it shows "車仔麵店" in the front of the shop.
Our table was set in upstairs and the decoration was a bit unsophisticated, with a small 14inch to entertain.
The starter was mushroom soup or ox tail soup with garlic bread. Mushroom soup was rich and creamy, but my personal favorite have to go for the ox tail soup as it is spicily and tasty, but just a little bit oily.
Then the main course has arrived, the first one is the "Mango Sauce Prawns". Mango sauce with fried rice is just brilliant, it just made you eating more and more. The only downside is, the prawns are just a little bit over cooked.
The second main course was the "Lamb Chop". We ordered "medium" but its seem a little bit over cooked too. But anyway it still taste fantastic and juicy, the roasted sweet potatoes also very tastsy.
And finally desert, it was Mango pudding, Tiramisu and Chinese cake. I would say Tiramisu will be your best shot as the others are just so so.
Became a regular customer at Anthony after that meal, do go back there twice a month.
Hopefully you guys will enjoy the food at Anthony, reason I gave 5 stars to "Service" because Anthony and his wife Mrs. Fong are extremely friendly, and sometimes they give me free deserts after meal. haha. enjoyed
