A creative and innovative restaurant if you haven’t been here before. It was word of mouth from our friend to meet this place and quite near to our location so we decided to tryout. We arrived 1115 while breakfast served till 1130. There were no line up but server needed a few minutes to prepare our table. There were approx. 100 seat restaurant by eyeball quick count but due to current situation it was unable to see full house, whereas an achievable mission when everything back to normal.
We quickly sat and ordered 3 meals. Waiting time was short and portion is normal. We would let you review the pictures of our meals as they were typical HK style without any surprises. Tastes were also same as others and nothing more to add. There were quite a few specialty
drinks available and we selected the basic one, Gangster Ovaltine, a direct translation from their Chinese menu and please accept my apology if this is incorrect. It was sweeter than we thought with Ovaltine & Ice at the bottom, covered on top were cream/ moose, chocolate powder, and some chocolate flavored cereal. Certainly a straw, spoon, and a plastic play card. Watch out as this card is for display only, at least assumed so, and we did not intake. It was quite nice and felt refreshed while presentation was unique. $14 a glass if you order along with meal while separate order is $24.
More to come and try if we are planning to come again to try their other menus especially Summer coming up if these attractive drinks can melt
the heat and burn. However, we noticed that after breakfast time crowd seemed diminished. Whether this is due to too early for lunches,
too many varieties around, not an ideal lunch venue, or something else, it is awaited to be seen when we drop by.
