Here for a friend's birthday celebration. Other than the fact that it's the poolside of Grand Hyatt, not exactly anything special about it.Variety of food is wide enough to keep you going without having to repeat yourself for the first three trips to the food station. Variety of food is wide enough to keep you going without having to repeat yourself for the first three trips to the food station. Supply should be unlimited but refilling was a bit slow resulting in shortages here and there from time to time.
The starter table includes salads with various dressings, cold poached seafood ranging from half lobsters to scampis to prawns to mussels to pâté.
Main table presents all sorts of meat and vege for barbecuing on the spot, not made to order though, ie they pre BBQ-ed the food for the buffet table.
On the other tables are more veges and standard desserts ie cakes and puddings.
I was not exactly wow-ed by the meal, but if you have tried the really crappy buffet dinner at Hong Kong Regal in CWB which they dare to charge a whooping 500 odd dollars per head, you will also agree that this, asking for only under 600 per head is well worth it considering the venue, ambience, service and food variety/quality.
