Went here for dinner tonight- everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong.I ordered a hot green tea milk, a beef omurice and a Chicken and Croffle.The beef main course came after just 5 mins, with the drink nowhere in sight.Beef was tough, the fried rice inside the omurice was bland. The green tea finally came half way through the beef course. It tasted bitter.Upon seeing fried chicken being consumed all around, I was excited when the chicken with croffle arrived. Beef was tough, the fried rice inside the omurice was bland.
The green tea finally came half way through the beef course. It tasted bitter.
Upon seeing fried chicken being consumed all around, I was excited when the chicken with croffle arrived. They covered the chicken in icing sugar and honey. I had a shock moment but derived to try it anyways.
The chicken was sickly sweet (marinated with sugar as well as having icing sugar and honey on the outside) and the croffle was buttery beyond anything and overly sweet to, if anything adding honey to these covered up the sweetness
All in all I am scratching my head why so many people rate this place so highly... perhaps it’s because of travel fatigue.
Avoid this place like the plague. Never again
