After eating the disappointing noodles in another restaurant, I decided to eat a dessert to cheer myself up. I visited this place again as the dessert last time was great(albeit a bit too big).One of the servers weren't too sure whether a la carte desserts were available during weekend. The manager came and was able to recognize me ( I guess not many people order the sweet paradise) and kindly stated that they are available but may take some time for preparation as they will be busy with serving

The manager came and was able to recognize me ( I guess not many people order the sweet paradise) and kindly stated that they are available but may take some time for preparation as they will be busy with serving the high tea set and afternoon tea buffet.
I decided to order the Lychee Pineapple Mousse Cake and added $30 for the special drink Ginger Coconut Coffee.
The server helped me ask the kitchen and stated it may take up to 45 minutes due to them preparing the tea buffet and tea set. The server kindly gave me other options if I didn't wanted to wait. Since, I had the time, I decided to wait for the cake. The coffee arrived first. The aroma of ginger was lovely but it tasted sour(I don't know why). Maybe they added too much ginger juice. Anyway, the taste was a bit weird.

45 minutes passed by quite easily when you are watching a movie on your phone and my dessert arrived.

It looked absolutely stunning and really matches the fall season. The lychee peel is actually red chocolate and it went well with the lychee mousse. There is some fruit puree in the middle making the dessert quite refreshing.
After finishing the dessert, the manager came and apologized for the wait. He suggested like for the sweet paradise, I can pre-order it so I don't have to wait so long.
Again, remember to like their facebook to get a 15% discount for a la carte desserts.
For the flavor and value rating, I would have rated 5 for the cake but the weird coffee knocked it down to 4. However, I will still keep a great review this time.

You can preorder the a la carte desserts to reduce your waiting time. Don't order the Ginger Coconut Coffee.
