all your pizza needs and pasta cravings will be satisfied ASAP once you visit it in the Kowloon City area. 🍕 The Mediterranean Pizza with olives, artichoke hearts, shallots, and mozzarella (vegetarian)
🥓 Italian Sausage Pizza with smoked cheese and sundried tomatoes
🍝 Spicy Vodka Rigatoni Pasta
🍄 Truffle Ravioli filled with Spinach & Ricotta
The pizzas were amazing- the crust stable and airy, the ingredients super fresh, sauce so well balanced, and cheese- abundant. All the flavor combinations looks really great, and made me want MORE!
The pastas came next. Vodka rigatoni is easily my fave pasta IN THE WORLD- while this one didn’t compete with the one I make myself (not to toot my own horn) it was definitely exceptional and some of the best I’ve had in Hong Kong. The truffle ravioli was very well cooked in the rich sauce, although I did feel there was a truffle overload, and the sauce needed to be something acidic to balance the already rich filling.
We ended with a tiramisu which was the only part of the meal I didn’t completely enjoy. The cream mascarpone part was too thick, dense, and heavy, without a big enough hit of coffee as is needed for the dessert.
Despite these minor complaints, I think the experience and food was definitely super good and competitive, and I thought the team there was super nice and friendly. Overall, definitely going back when I’m in the area for a satisfying and comforting meal ❤️
