Their signature dish, cod & chips, are really the best I've ever had away from the British Isles. Full of imported English cod, the fish dinner is fried to a perfect light fresh consistency and encased in a rich yet clean light batter that leaves your taste buds thinking you were at some great UK seaside town. The portions are just right and come with full chips (or fries if you prefer) a sprinkling of sea salt and tartar sauce. Mushy peas are on the menu for those who enjoy and tables carry the obligatory malt vinegar that all good chip shops carry. An assortment of teas coffee soft drinks and some good beers are on offer to complement your meal.
The menu also boasts delicious rotisserie chicken, several other fish types and a good selection of appetisers (of which the chicken wings and onion rings are mouthwatering).
The homemade lemon seed poppy cake is impossible to avoid once you've tried and with a seating capacity of about 20 odd you'd better book in advance.
Some bar type seating is available as is take away.
Very friendly helpful staff who make sure everything is just right !!
