First thing I have to say is that I love thus place!Came here for a family member's birthday + Chinese New Year dim sum. Didn't expect that booking is still available, when I only made the booked 2 days ago! I like the restaurant's efficiency when they got back to me by whatsapp to confirm the birthday message on the dessert platter. Came here for a family member's birthday + Chinese New Year dim sum. Didn't expect that booking is still available, when I only made the booked 2 days ago! I like the restaurant's efficiency when they got back to me by whatsapp to confirm the birthday message on the dessert platter. In my previous experience with other restaurants, they really take their time in getting back to you.
Except the placement of the items are different, the dessert platter looks exactly the same as the picture. Out of the three items on the platter, I love the Jasmine Panna Cotta the most! You can taste the Jasmine tea!
In terms of the dim sum / dishes, the Smoked Chicken with Long Jing Tea Leaves is me and my family's favourite. There is no fats in the chicken at all, just meat and the skin. The tea flavour is very strong. The waiter is very detail minded, and asked "anyone would like to take a picture or video?" before opening the cover and let the smoke out.
The rest of the dishes are very nice as well. They are served in a warm temperature! The only dim sum that I think it is just average would be the Barbecue Buns. The rest are truely amazing!
We were lucky enough to get the window seat with a very clear sky on the second day on the Chinese New Year's Eve too!
