Overall a mixed bag of a restaurant with some tasty dishes but service was so inconsistent it triggered my trust issues and the 1 hour dining time limit was low key stressful. The good: The vibes in the outdoor seating area - loved the wooden tables and benches and the vibe in general. My friend and I felt like we were in Italy and grooved to 'That's Amore' while nomming on pizzas and wine. The good:

Decent wine pours and tasty limoncello
Some (not all - more on that later) of the staff were absolutely lovely. Would check in on us without beinverbearing and apologized for rushing us to leave due to their reservations and dining time limit. We really appreciated that they allowed us to stay a little longer to finish our dessert. Clean toilets
The bad:
Pesto pasta was ok but lacked salt and an extra kick of flavour
Their PALA 'roman style' pizzas were a bit dry for our liking, especially the crust, which was rather thick as well. I did read somewhere that this style of pizza is meant to be a bit more dry, so I guess I'm just not a fan of it.
I was not told of the 1 hour dining time limit until we arrived on the day. Luckily it was just a casual meet up with a good friend who I see regularly, but this would’ve been an issue if we wanted to have a long catch up or if it was meant to be a celebration! They did tell us we could stay longer if the bookings don’t show up but they did and in the end we had to leave.
Some (not all - see above) of the wait staff were quite rude and unwelcoming. For a second I thought I was in some alternate universe where Italian restaurants were in fact cha chan tengs, since that was the kind of service I was getting. At one point they retracted the awning above us without asking if we were ok with it or giving us any heads up so it got really hot, since the midday sun ended up shining directly at us. They later explained that they did this to give more fresh air to the outdoor area, which I understand, but just a simple heads up would have been nice! Luckily, one of the nice waitresses noticed that we were dying from the heat and offered to adjust the awning so there was a better balance of fresh air and shade.
