Being a fan of red bean soup, I always pick red bean soup as my Chinese dessert soup option. And this time, my companion was craving for Chinese dessert soup, we decided to try back my childhood favourite restaurant.We asked for herbal jello in red bean soup and walnut and black sesame mix. Chilled red bean soup was as amazing as it was in the old days. Red bean was holding in shape while so soft and velvety. Strong red bean taste instead of overpowered by the sweetness. Walnut and black sesame mix was very nutty. Smooth and thick. Perfect texture! Love that it was served hot! Neither too sweet nor bitter from over toasting.
As good as expected and recalling my childhood memory. Will always come back for some sweetness.
