Right at the corner of my previous workplace in Sai Ying Pun, we spotted a low-profile izakaya called Kuki. Picked the lean akami and jammy amaebi as appetizer. California roll - absolutely a maki layered with different textures that both kids and adults would love.

Chicken wing was a standout which was served piping hot with crispy skin and juicy meat. The tsukune was soft and fluffy. Liver was about medium well which preserved its moisture. Lamb chop was still pinkish with a tender texture and a good amount of fat content.

Japanese staple. Steaming hot. Smooth egg mixture which was delicately flavored, with gingko, mushroom, chicken and crab stick inside.
◆野菜炒め Stir-fried Vegetables
Freshly fried. Cabbage with various kinds of mushrooms seasoned with savory black pepper salt.
The restaurant also offers all-you-can-drink for 2 hours at only $298 per person, which seems to be a popular option for their repeat guests.
