Classy place with great oysters and steaks

I had a business colleague in town and this place was close to his hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. Nice decor, candles, music▪︎Not pretentious and the waiters were attentive but not annoying. Started with Oysters and the selection was all super fresh and well presented but a bit cheaper than we were used to. The wine list has a decent selection of mostly French wines. We had a Syrah with our steaks, US Ribeye and a NZ filet mignon. Both were cooked to.order with a serve of fries, the red w

Started with Oysters and the selection was all super fresh and well presented but a bit cheaper than we were used to. The wine list has a decent selection of mostly French wines. We had a Syrah with our steaks, US Ribeye and a NZ filet mignon. Both were cooked to.order with a serve of fries, the red wine sauce went very well with the meat. Dessert for me was a Panna cotta with fruit. It was a great meal but the bill was quite reasonable compared to other places of a similar quality like Wooloomooloo. Would happily go again.
