This afternoon came across Kennedy town passing by Davis street there are so many restaurant and bar along this area, I heard there is a small bistro which serve very nice French cuisine in here (recommended by friend).Finally we found the bistro which I would like to try for sometime,Reach the entrance the waiter told us was fully booked at least have to wait for half and hour. About 20 mins there is a table for us, My husband ordered a set lunch which is the daily pumpkin soup and risotto, a Caesar salad and beef steak for my son.as for myself I took the a la card rack of lamb cause I saw some negative issue in here about the lamb and I'm very fussy about the lamb, so I do not take the risk.
My husband do not finish the soup so I tried and finish all. Is good eventually may be is not suite his taste . My son caesar sale I can say is the best Caesar I ever had before.
When come to main dish, the risotto was delicious, the beef already finished by my son which I don't have a chance to try, so I have no doubt about it. The rack of lamb which I order is tender and juicy , the chef controlled the doneness very well as I want it to be, I'm very impressed with the main dish I had even with a big different in price compare with set lunch. We don't have much time to try out the sweet cause for rushing elsewhere, but for sure we will come back again next time, compliment to the chef,well done.
