Deliciously made fried chicken… with a very thick batter! We ordered a whole portion - half orignal flavour and half hot. (For me it was more smoky than hot so I might try the nuclear hot next time.) Loved the crunch, but I must admit it’s not my favourite fried chicken in all of Hong Kong (I still have a personal preference for Korean fried chicken, the batter is still thick enough but doesn’t take as much effort to chew and bite as The Last Resort’s). We also got a side of kosher pickles - alw
Loved the crunch, but I must admit it’s not my favourite fried chicken in all of Hong Kong (I still have a personal preference for Korean fried chicken, the batter is still thick enough but doesn’t take as much effort to chew and bite as The Last Resort’s). We also got a side of kosher pickles - always a good idea, and it cut through the deep fried goodness of the chicken.
We had the signature margarita - delicious, with the salt inside of the drink so it had salinity from the salt, sweetness from pineapple juice, and you could still taste the tequila. But the lime didn’t shine through for me as much as it could’ve.
It was also not as well ventilated as it could’ve been as we were incredibly hot to sit at one end of the restaurant but I’m still grateful we could have a seat somewhere in the venue!
