Came to PMQ to check out the 1600 pandas with boyfriend and his sister. We walked around PMQ to find the hidden special edition pandas and I saw this cupcake store. The name looked familiar and when I got home, I realized it was the same cupcake store located in Mong Gok's Ginza Plaza. This time, I bought one because really....pandas? Who can pass up a panda themed cupcake when the focus of this whole area was pandas.
It's a small cupcake shop. They also sell silicon cookware products (the Cream Art part of Natural Chiffon). They also take orders for personalized cupcakes and cakes from their Facebook page.
Their regular frosted cupcakes are $18 while their 3D cupcakes are $38. I opted for a regular panda cupcake which was $25. There were three flavors : raspberry, blueberry and egg whilte (or original as the staff told me). Since raspberry made the panda pink and the blueberry made him look blue, I chose original as it was white.
Ears and eyes were chocolate buttons. They have improved their recipe since I visited a few years ago. The cupcake is now more moist. Don't expect a sweet cupcake. The frosting was still bland and a bit oily.
