Tony Wong seems to be doing a lot of spin offs lately - cake shops, cafe, ice cream (smile), and now a sweets shop "sweet boutique" selling cookies and chocolates.I was attracted by their new chocolate line - very colorful and beautifully presented in the fridge. It's not cheap at $22/ piece for a locally produced brand. I tried two flavors - dark chocolate and the rose flavor. I was attracted by their new chocolate line - very colorful and beautifully presented in the fridge. It's not cheap at $22/ piece for a locally produced brand. I tried two flavors - dark chocolate and the rose flavor. The dark chocolate is quite nice but I would prefer a higher chocolate content and less sweet version. The filing inside is very smooth, however, the outer layer is too thick. It would have been so much better if they could make the shell thiner. The rose one is nice too but the BF complained that it tasted too artificial.

When I was paying, I was pleasantly suprised by a free gift the sales presented me with. Apparently they just launched their rose cookie which is a cute rose-shaped butter cookie. It was already crushed when I got home but it's such a cute cookie!! If just I found out earlier about it I would've ordered it for Mother's Day! The taste is similar to a palmier (butterfly cookie) but the texture is more dense. LOVE THIS!
