Another cold night and that is why everyone suggested to have hotpot. This restaurant is quite small so you have to go there early. After looking through the menu, we chose their famous pork rib with sweet corn soup. The pot of soup arrived within ten minutes, the pork rib was so big and the soup was so sweet. Hotpot meat ball platter:
Pork ball: this is always my favourite so I ordered this every time. This pork ball here had very strong mushroom flavour, it was soft and yummy.

Pumpkin ball: this one was delicious. There was lots of pumpkin paste inside, it was super sweet and tasted so good with the outer layer.

Truffle ball: this one was special as we had never heard of it outside. It is basically a mixture of sausage and truffle. Somehow it tasted like bacon to me but anyway, it was quite good.

Deep fried bean curd:
Another important ingredient that I order every time I go hotpot. These bean curds were crispy, after soaking into the soup, it tasted even better. I only dipped into the soup for 20 seconds because I like it soft outside but crispy inside.

Tofu:
The texture of the tofu was rough and that's why I like these tofu. It was more solid so when I eat it, it has something to chew from.

Mushroom:
I left them inside the pot for quite awhile because I like them soft. They were easy to chew.

Vegetable platter:
There were quite a range of vegetable, they were fresh and sweet. I was surprise to see lotus, they were in thin slices and crunchy. The sweet corn was so sweet and the vegetable was crunchy.

Angus beef:
It took quite a long time before we get the beef, I think that's because they cut everyone's beef all at once. They were freshly cut in the kitchen. The colour of the beef was incredible, it was very red which looked very fresh. There were hardly any fat. The texture was tender and easy to chew. I couldn't stop eating them because they were beefy and tasty.

Pork stripe:
We also ordered some pork, there were quite a lot of pieces on the plate. These tasted very good as well. The texture was smooth and tender. These pork slices were freshly cut as well, there was some fat on each slice which made them so yummy.
